T O P I C R E V I E WatleeHi everbodyIt has been a long time. Nice feeling to come back once again. Met one of my old friends. Was in a bad shape. He said he has mitral valve prolapse. One of the docs said he requires holistic healing. The syndrome has something to do with nerves and autonomous nervous system. Can anybody help him out. Poor guy is so depressed that it is difficult to cheer him up. Any books, literature, spiritual path, yoga perhaps ? noreenzHi Atlee,Let me know if you're still around. My sister-in-law has this condition and would be able to give you alot of info. But before I contact her, I'd like to know if you still need. Thanks. NoreenatleeI am very much here. The friend of mine needs help. He has been to doctors now and then and still is not comfortable. Sometimes he gets so panicky he feels he is going to have an heart attack. The EGG, ECho and all are all normal. Please help of you can. AtleenoreenzHi Atlee,Glad to see you're still around. I'll get cha some info. Out of curiousity, does your friend get much exercise?? The reason I ask is that in talking with my sister-in- law, the thing that has made the most improvement in her life was that she took up dancing, ballroom and started becoming "active" she seldom has any setbacks, she wasn't heavy or anything, just inactive. She wouldn't even drive, it had gotten so bad.......please tell your friend that perhaps we can get his/her life back......having gone through it with her for a few years...I know it can be very scary and debilitating, many, many, many visits to the hospital emergency rooms...and now she has her life back. I'll be in touch. smileNoreenatleeThanks Noreenz. The freind of mine is a heavy jogger. No other exercise though. Does a lot of driving, likes to eat out and be with family and friends. He gets thise attacks when he is excited, angry or scared. We talk a lot, I have told him to exercise more, and be confident. Anything more to help him out ?Thanks a lot for being there .Atlee
