T O P I C R E V I E WYinThank you, Trillian, for recommending the Politically INcorrect nutrition book. It shed a lot of light on topics that were unclear to me. Thanks again! For the curious: http://www.westonaprice.org/nutrition_guidelines/whats_wrong.html AND http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/1890612340/qid%3D1104 113745/sr%3D11-1/ref%3Dsr%5F11%5F1/002-1688529-2247217 trillianYou're welcome, darlin' Yin! It's a fascinating little book that educated me on several important things. Not the least of which are the affects of soy and flouride on the body. trillianYin, that Weston Price is an awesome website!Great find, thank you! YinMy pleasure, Trill. You and Gia have been my teachers in nutrition and herbology. I know, there are many other people here with valuable knowledge but it is your posts that most resonate to me. And I can't really sit at the computer to read all the articles online. I need to save my eyes.So... Are there any other books on nutrition and/or herbology you can recommend, Trillian? It's not urgent, just picking your brain if I could With trillianThank you for your sweet words, Yin, but I am just a novice! I am in awe of the wealth of information Gia shares with us. I have enormous respect for her.Let's see, a couple of books I would recommend are:Heinerman's Encyclopedia of Fruits, Vegetables and Herbs by John HeinermanandDr. Cass Ingram's Supermarket RemediesSome books come and go but I've held on to those. Another absolute favorite is called Curing with Cayenne by Sam Biser. He's done a lot of work with Dr. Schulze, as well as other herbalists. In fact, the Cayenne book includes some of Dr. Schulze's formula recipes, like the Female Formula. I've made my own for years; it's not very difficult. I don't think the book is available widely, but Amazon has some copies. http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B0006FDVH8/qid=1104279391/sr=1-1/ref=sr_1_1/102-0883718-2151356?v=glance&s=books Love you Yin!
