T O P I C R E V I E Weightdegrees... or not.Hi everyone! I need help deciding whether or not to take my cat with me when I move in a few weeks. I'm worried it will traumatize her- she loves her surroundings, and her "brother", who we adopted with her will be staying with my parents. It's totally an option for her to stay here in CT, also. I feel a little selfish taking her because she could be lonely without Jack, but I'm worried about ME being lonely with no animal companion. I'd like to hear any success/failure stories, and coping strategies about relocating an animal. Thanks so much!NephthysA possible solution;Leave your cat with her brother at your parents house. Get a new cat when you move. Result: everybody wins!!! LovelyLibraLadyI don't think she should be separated from Jack, if they get along really well. Plenty of kitties need homes, so I'd go with finding another one.
