I now have 3 backyard cats that have made it thru the coldest of days and Im glad about that. The other day I was going out to get my dog. The dog was on a tie out pulley so he was contained. I looked over to the cat house and there was yellow cat, just staring at me. We locked eyes for about 5 minutes. I send all my most compassionate thoughts towards him. I told him I had been waiting for him, that he could live at my house as long as he wants to and that I was glad he was doing ok. Then my dog Buddy moved and scared the cat away.
