BearsArcher | Oh yes, it has been crazy with other issues but to add to that, our little 10 1/2 month old furbaby Rocky (AKA- the destroyer) has been going through his wonderful teenage growth spurt. I find that we are having to re-train him with almost everything (not potty training thank goodness). We came home the other night and he had destroyed Kachina #2, a frame with a picture of Bear's oldest son (his baby and graduation pic plus the HS graduation announcement), the back of the loveseat was torn out, baby moccasin's on a plaque was destroyed and the ACU Beany Baby Soldier Bear (that Bear gave me when he was deployed) is now a casualty of the war with Rocky (the stuffing is gone from his head, no eyes or nose, and the little beanies were EVERYWHERE). He is back to being crate trained (while we are gone) and we have to keep a major eye on him. He'll finally get neutered in March (lab's need at least 12 months since they are so slow in maturing) and hopefully that will calm him down a bit. He gets lots of exercise and love, but right now he is just being a big goober. Luckily, he loves food more than anything, so tiny treats are working with him. Now I know why I have always had cats... hee hee.. but he is so lovable that I can't imagine what it was like not to have him- and he is a good snuggler when Bear leaves in the wee hours for Physical training (Army).

Randall | Awww...he can't help it. Be patient. ------------------ "Cooking is like love. It should be entered into with abandon or not at all." Harriet Van Horne |
BearsArcher | You're right Randall . He is just too cute |
StarrofVenusGirl | LOL! Puppy mayhem! Labs and most larger dogs stay "puppies" until they are almost 2. He may look big but he's still a kid inside. Had to laugh at the beanie baby (although I know you were aggravated since it was such a sentimental gift)...my parents' dog Portia is a Lab/Pyrenees mix that just turned 2 in December and the toy I bought her for Christmas was demolished in under 2 minutes. Stuffing everywhere...she still carries around its empty carcass though! It's just a head with a dangly body now LOL. No eyes, missing an ear, etc. |

BearsArcher | Hi Randall, It is going well. The animals are getting back to normal after Phoebe's passing and Rocky is handling me working pretty well. We have to crate him (his crate is HUGE) while we're gone but we come home for lunch, so he's not in the crate for loooong hours. How are you doing? |
Randall | I'm doing okay. I was just worrying about you and how the rest of the animal babies were doing. ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." BearsArcher | Thank you Randall You're a sweetheart! |

Randall | Glad the animal babies aren't too sad over the loss of their friend. ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Rebecca Clark |
