T O P I C R E V I E WhannaramaaThis forum was started after one of our members Filiaspirant was kind enough to help me and other members learn horary in Personal Readings. I was hesitant to become a moderator because I'm an intermediate horary student at best, but here I am. As a moderator I try to help when I can given my own things going on as do others. Part of why that help is extended to some and not others has to do with reciprocity. It takes ENERGY to intuit multiple charts, and to open a dialogue about it. I'm sure I speak for other veteran members here when I say we appreciate it so much when someone puts in an effort to learn, especially about a topic that is so important to them. My point in making this post is tjat while it isn't a requirement to put in effort in reading your chart, or being a horary expert, it is noticed when you don't. I'm hoping by addressing this issue as a whole that it encourages members to ask more astrological questions if they're unsure, or give them courage to post their own interpretation before bumping their charts multiple times. There seems to be more frustration here and a lack of good energy, so I'm hoping that reverses in the near future.RandallWell-said.appleberry quote:Originally posted by Randall:Well-said.Agreed. Thank you Hanna!LoadedPistilI'm much more inclined to read a chart where the OP has attempted to read the chart. This is not a reading request forum. This is for discussion. If you're telling a mod that they're wrong, that's fine, but they are not obligated to correct you nor obligated to read for you. This should be about asking questions and exchanging perspectives, not right or wrong. If you want right or wrong, you should probably pay. ------------------ Leo ♌️ Sun, (2nd House), Venus (3nd House)Scorpio ♏ Moon,Mars,Saturn (5th House) Cancer ♋ RisingSvātī Nakshatrahannaramaa^^ Agreed! I made this post because it's no secret this forum has moved pretty slow latey, because no one wants to give, and give, and give for people who are too lazy to learn. I understand horary and astrology are intimidating as a whole so I'd much rather help someone who ASKS than those who just say "it's hard"! << the most ridiculous excuse of them all.RandallThe process should be interactive.LoadedPistilMost of these threads Fille would've skipped right over. ------------------ Leo ♌️ Sun, (2nd House), Venus (3nd House)Scorpio ♏ Moon,Mars,Saturn (5th House) Cancer ♋ RisingSvātī NakshatraSunAscendantSometimes I feel like I give too much info and people are not inclined to read the chart because they think I've already solved it myself, but I appreciate people who still read it. I mean I have written two-three paragraphs of a delineation and since I used the wrong house the whole chart was wrong. I also want people to look at charts that have a ton of delineation already done by the quesitor. Just because there is a ton of writing doesn't mean the quesitor might already know. Please take the time and read the paragraph of writing because chances are there is a mistake. In any case, I completely agree that everyone should delineate their own charts with as much info as they can. Four sentences is better than none, even if you happen to be wrong.
