T O P I C R E V I E WAstro keenLets explore! What's fascinating is how aspects common to romantic synastries take on different meanings - I have a Sun conjunct Pluto dw with my son's fiancé . I discovered some compelling aspects with both my sons and N, a new daughter-in-law to be. iQ suggested that my son, R, and N were possibly twin flames and I wondered how that might impact on our synastry. In fact, I found some great aspects with N - these stood out (me listed first):Sun sextile Sun (1), conj Union (1)Sun conj Pluto (0) dwMerc sextile Merc (0)Sun sextile Uranus (0) dwMoon square Valentine (0), square Saturn (0), quintile Karma (0)Valentine conj Jupiter (1), trine Angel (0)Karma sextile Sun (0), square Angel (1)Juno conj Moon (1)Amor trine Moon (0), sextile Sun (0)Very positive and loving wouldn't you say?Interesting to see how the love asteroids take shape. Juno aspects are commonly seen in family synastries and denote committed relationships. Wonder what the Moon square Valentine might mean here. Vajra.Astro keenH Vajra,Your family sounds very close-knit and happy. The Saturn aspects are well known in families of course (especially Moon/Saturn), but I hadn't noted how the luminaries are complimentary or linked. As you say, the Moon or the Sun are in the same sign, or aspecting the ascendant.Interestingly, Virgo was very prominent in my family too. Many uncles and aunts as well as my parents were August born - my parents shared the same birthday, in fact. Not that it led to much harmony . Don't know how the Moon featured amongst them.I checked my sons' charts and hey presto, I found cross links with the Sun and Moon. I am Scorpio Sun and Leo Asc, R and N have Scorpio Moons, whilst my younger son, A, has a Leo Moon. With N, I have all the angles in the same signs. I'm posting a draconic synastry for R and me - definite past life links here. Astro keenThe asteroids I would have expected to see in close aspects would be Amor, Alma, Psyche, Ceres and of course Juno. Was surprised to note that Valentine was prominent. It would be useful to compare placements with some of these. Starting with Valentine. Me and R (older son)Alma conj Valentine (0)Mars sextile Valentine (0)Vesta quintile Valentine (0)My Valentine conj his 5th house cusp.Me and A (younger son)Valentine conj Venus/Union (0), conj Juno (3)Valentine quintile Amor (0), square Mars and Pluto (1), sextile NN (0)My Juno and Amor trine his Valentine (0)Me and N (son's fiance)Valentine conj Jupiter (0)Moon square Valentine (0)Valentine square NN (0), Vesta (1)Valentine sextile Karma (0), trine Psyche (0)Saturn and Union conj her Valentine (1)Wow!Interesting to see the double whammies - Amor/Valentine, Juno/Valentine. Love the Alma/Valentine aspect.Would anyone like to add theirs?ReachingForTheStarsThere are lots of node and angle contacts within my family. With my mom, I have the same:AscendantSunMercuryVenus MarsMy dad and husband are both cancer rising with moon in Aries conjunct their MCMy sister's AC/DC conjuncts my nodesHer venus is on my ICDW sun conjunct Saturn DW Juno conjunct Jupiter Mars conjunct Pluto My kids have:Elder son to younger son:AC/DC conjunct nodesJuno conjunct ACSaturn conjunct MCSun conjunct SaturnElder son to daughter:Nodes conjunct MC/ICSun conjunct SNMoon conjunct sunVenus conjunct Chiron Juno conjunct alma Younger son to daughter:Venus/Uranus conjunct NNSaturn conjunct SNPluto conjunct venus Both Virgo rising Me and my oldest son:AC/DC conjunct nodesDC conjunct Moon/Pluto Vertex conjunct venusVenus conjunct MCMars conjunct JunoMe and my younger son:SN conjunct moonMoon conjunct moonSun/AC conjunct valentine With my daughter:Sun/AC conjunct MCMoon/Juno conjunct venusSaturn conjunct moon/Juno Neptune conjunct sunEros conjunct psyche I was pretty amazed with our synastry.Faith-manderinMy father and I had a contentious relationship. I basically grew up hating him because he was overly controlling and just a ******* . Later in life (after I literally took legal steps to keep him away from me- haven't seen or heard from him in a decade and hopefully never will again.) I did our synastry and found that his Saturn was squaring my entire stellium of Sun,Merc,Venus & Jupiter and also my moon. Because Saturn is the one that 'bonds' he was the one he kept trying to keep a relationship with me in order to control me. Since my Saturn didn't really have much contact with his planets, it was much easier for me to cut ties with him.I find this to be in general the case with most relationships though- not just familial. The Saturn person is the one that wants the bond to stay the most and therefore is not usually the one to cut the ties. This is true whether the aspects to Saturn are positive or negative. If they are positive it's the loving, devoted person who sees your value and therefore wants to stay in your life. If they are negative it's the controling abuser who wants to stay in your life in order to control and abuse you. Either way- They are not the ones to break it off with you.ReachingForTheStarsI just looked at the synastry between me and my sister in law. We have:DW sun conjunct venus (1,4)My valentine conjunct her sun (0)My moon trine her sun (1)My Uranus conjunct her NN (0)Her Saturn conjunct my NN (0)Eros conjunct psyche (0)Mars conjunct Pluto (2)Venus trine Pluto (1)She has done lots for me: taught me lots (unknowingly), been like a trustworthy big sister, good example in a lot of situations. We don't always agree, but I think the sun conjunct venus has helped maintain a sort of understanding and admiration for certain aspects of her personality. My venus conjuncts her sun in Taurus, and I have a 2nd house NN, by example, she's taught me a lot about values. Vajra.SeptembergirlI have 3 sisters and 3 brothers. I share both my mother and father with two of the three sisters. My brothers, one sister and I have the same father, but different mothers. My brother and sister (who don't have the same mother as I) and I all have Virgo Saun, Virgo Mercury, and libra venus. My other brother has libra sun, libra Mercury and Virgo venus. Another brother has moon and Mars in libra, uranus and pluto in Virgo. My younger sister (with the same mom and dad) has libra ascendant and moon in Virgo. My youngest sister (same mom and dad) is the odd ball. She has cancer ascendant, aquarius sun, Taurus moon, Mercury and Mars in Pisces, venus in aquarius, but Jupiter, uranus, and pluto in libra. She is like me though some because I'm my asc is aquarius and my moon is in Pisces. She shares Taurus moon with my Capricorn dad and Gemini mom. LeeLoo2014Thank you for bumping, Vajra, we should do this experiment here
