novembermuse | Has anyone had this aspect with another? I have this with a guy I'm crushing on. According to skyview "you are likely to find that present duties, previous obligations, and long term commitments don't enable you to be together when you would like. And that someone else is going to set your boundaries and restrict your choice of action." Has anyone or do you know of anyone that has/had this aspect and this was a factor? Or can you offer any insight on how these energies would play out?

I find this to be true. I have this aspect with my current prospective partner and I am the sun person. There is always something independent of us that is getting in the way of us getting together... I would like to have more information on quincunx in synastry. |

I can't word it better. I've this also with my current one and I am Saturn (orb 3*). In our case it's mainly his mom restricting him as right now she terribly needs him because of the bad & sad circumstances she's going through. I can understand it as he's the only one she has and I'm aware it's just a matter of *time*. ' And although it isn't always easy to *wait* the 'resolution exchange' between us is THE factor for continuation. Without this consistent and persistent attitude towards each other (which I deeply respect) there would be nothing left of us.. |

Belage | You're welcome. Now the question is, does that mean that IN TIME, the two people will be able to really connect without interference, since Saturn rules time, or does that mean that their relationship will FOREVER be interfered upon? Anybody knows? |
Lonake | Here's another, quote: The quincunx between Sun and Saturn seems only to produce a sense that the individuals want different things from life, an unrelated and somewhat unblendable match-up of lifestyles and goals. This is a minor aspect which is easily offset by other, more harmonious links, but it may inject a small but continuing wedge into a relationship which keeps it from ever achieving complete accord in such areas as which subculture is the most desirable to become a part of or what sort of social attitudes are most "reasonable." Individuals who are generally compatible, but argue over politics or social issues reflect this aspect's effect.

It depends who's the saturn and who's the sun? Does the parnter that's the saturn have hard saturn aspects natally? If so they can come off as negative and controlling to the sun person. That's my experience I was the sun he was the saturn. |
Belage | Thanks, Crissy. |
