T O P I C R E V I E WLaceyLeighMy Sun, Mercury, Mars and Saturn fall into the 5th house of anyone with a Scorpio ascendant, starting at 10 degrees. Everything that falls into their 5th house is said to create fun, happiness, attraction, except for Saturn. How does that work? Is it possible that these people feel joyful/happy around me, but they're unable to fully express how they feel about me? Or maybe they feel like they're emotions won't be well recieved on my end because of Saturn? What if my Saturn makes nice aspects to their planets.. trines their Venus/Mercury, will that help?LaceyLeighBump.stillatlargeHow do you find this out...that everyone with scorp asc falls there? I'd love to know how to do that.LaceyLeigh quote:Originally posted by stillatlarge:How do you find this out...that everyone with scorp asc falls there? Lotis WhiteThe symbolism of the 5th house represents what inspires us to GIVE, and express with our energy. It shows what gets us all worked up, excited, and enthused, where we feel like we could write a sonnet or do a big song 'n dance about whatever is touching our 5th.The 5th house also shows who and what we fall in love with, and adore, and what qualities in others impress us. If we're putting planets in somebodies 5th house often we have traits that impress them. And if they are the opposite sex and of appropriate age, there is possibility they'll be romantically attracted. There's a catch to this though... A planet sitting in somebody's 5th house is not likely to be significantly felt unless it aspects their chart. Lets say you have your Moon in somebodies 5th house at 17 degrees of Libra... If that person has no planets near 17 degees to aspect that Moon, even though the Moon is in their 5th house, they might not really be tuned into it. They're unlikely to have much of a response to it. Aspects are energy exchange. No energy exchange, no feelings. However, if that person had Venus at 17 Aquarius aspecting that Moon in Libra in their 5th house, the result could be magic chemistry. Or even if they had a planet near 17 Leo, or 17 Capricorn, opposite and square the Libra Moon in question, this is better then no aspect at all. At least they can still feel you. That's the thing with planets in houses. It's not enough just to put planets in a certain house in somebody's chart. We need to aspect their chart somehow with those planets, in order to get a serious reaction out of them. When we do aspect their chart with the planets we're putting in their 5th house, they're likely to respond to us strongly in a 5th house kind of flavor. They're likely to be impressed with us, and find us exciting and interesting in some way. We'd tug on their heart strings and seem 'special' to them. If the aspects are harsh there could be some ego conflict/hurt pride, but there can still be tremendous inspiration too. If Saturn is the planet making the strongest apsects from the 5th house, then the person would admire your wisdom, sense of responsibility, and inner strength. Especially so if the aspects are soft. It's not likely to cause that much of a blockage unless there are also hard aspects to Saturn from their chart. It can actually be a supportive, structuring influence on their self expression around you. They might be more careful to choose their actions wisely when they express themselves to you but this is not the same thing is blocking or inhibiting them. It would also be super good for attraction if your Sun, Mercury, and Mars, also aspect this person's chart from their 5th house.
