T O P I C R E V I E WStellar.pleasureWhat can you see from our composite? RosalindI don't see any love stellium.Stellar.pleasureWhen a friend looked at the chart, she said pointed to the love stellium because Mercury can be in the opposite house making it conjunct the Sun and Venus... Wasn't sure what that meantRosalindUhm... what?A love stellium cannot have a planet making an opposition. Just conjunction.Love stellium= Conjunction between Sun/Mercury/Venus. All these planets clustered together in a house.Ceridwen quote:Originally posted by Stellar.pleasure:When a friend looked at the chart, she said pointed to the love stellium because Mercury can be in the opposite house making it conjunct the Sun and Venus... Wasn't sure what that meantIt`s because in a usual (birth) chart Mercury can never be opposite the Sun.So most (or at least some) astrologers just place the opposing Mercury or Venus into the proximity of the Sun to maintain a similiarity with a "real" chart. (Personally I have a different opinion on this though). Another reason is that the composite is a midpoint chart, and every midpoint actually is a midpoint axis, consisting of a near and far midpoint, thus the conjunction and opposition are both representative of that midpoint (axis). Stellar.pleasureRight by Mercury, it says "+opposite house."I'd change the title if I could if it's wrong, but can't. But there are squares to the Sun, Venus, and Mercury. If you have anything else to input besides not having a love stellium, go right ahead.Stellar.pleasure quote:Originally posted by Ceridwen: It`s because in a usual (birth) chart Mercury can never be opposite the Sun.So most (or at least some) astrologers just place the opposing Mercury or Venus into the proximity of the Sun to maintain a similiarity with a "real" chart. Ok that makes sense. Before seeing the composite though, I did feel the Mercury in Libra ALOT but also in Aries. Add to that Uranus, Saturn, and Neptune. Definitely noticed those in our dynamics.
