llewsacm | Ok...so I came across something that caught my attention when comparing my solar return chart to that of my partner's. Both of our birthdays are in the month of March. He's a Pisces and Im Aries. We are 6 years apart in age. When I compare our solar return charts, we have the same chart ruler for 2015, and certain planets fall in the same house (sun is located in 8th house, pluto in 5th, etc.) I checked 2016, same thing, sun in same house, pluto, Jupiter, etc. And the same ascendant. 2017...same...see where this is heading? Im no expert on solar returns, so perhaps i am reading more into this than I should. I would think with these similarities, it may point to having the same focus each year and that we would complement one other with the energies present, in other words, we would be in sync. Any thoughts on this? Guidance is always appreciated. Thanks! |
Aubyanne | What of the past SRs? |
llewsacm | Yes, I went bad as far as 2005. Same thing. |
Aubyanne | What's going on with your natal ASC's? And you live in the same location, yes? Were you born in the same time zone? |
llewsacm | Born in same time zone. My ascendant is cancer and his is Scorpio. |

Can you post the charts? That could be it. Just show me the SR's for 2015-2017. |
llewsacm | Ok Auby, I'll try later. Never uploaded charts here but will give it a shot! Ty! Ty! Ty! For working with me on this! |
Ceridwen | Yes, it happens. Mr Sag and me are born one day apart (diff years). so we basically have the same Solar Return. Interestingly our ASC`s in SR`s are always conjunct as well (about 3 degrees) though his natal ASC is in Pisces and mine is in Sagittarius. Probably that happens though because our Suns are pretty much exactly one degree apart (1°01), so the natal Suns have their returns at approximately the same time on two subsequent days
|
llewsacm | OK, here's 2015 solar returns (I hope they come through). Will post others soon. |

Aubyanne | Okay, the tMOON moves significantly, which makes sense. You're born 8 days apart -- just a bit over a week. I'd call you near-astrotwins for this reason. Since you were born in the same time zone, I think this explains it. I'll check some controls I have and get back to you. |
llewsacm | We're actually 21 days apart. He was born March 10 1978. I'm March 31 1972. Thank you Aubyanne! This is throwing me for a loop! |

OH. That's 11º Aries. And 20º Pisces. Right, right, right. It may, oddly, have to do with your ASC/SUN combination. This may be a bit more rare than I thought -- even if it's clearly in the mathematics. Let me think on this ... your ASC are trine, so, roughly 120º apart, yes? And your SUNs are 21º apart. This has something to do with that. The fact that the tSUN will be in the same house at the time of the SR could be indicated by this relationship of SUN to SUN / ASC to ASC / SUN to ASC. |

llewsacm | WOW! Ok Cerdwen you have 7 years between you. And one day What are your natal rising signs? |
llewsacm | Oh, sorry. I see you mentioned the rising sign in an earlier post. |
llewsacm | What do you make of this then Cerdwen? Did you inquire further to the significance of the similarities between your solar returns? |
Ceridwen | actually it`s 5 years and one day. No clue about the significance, but of course we have the same solar return being born just one day apart. Why the ASC is conjunct, I have not really figured out yet, maybe a Sun-ASC thing as Auby suggested? his ASC squares my Sun. |
Aubyanne | I tested it out with a man born a week prior, (in my case) in my time zone, who's ASC is trine mine, in the sign before it. That makes a difference, evidently. It did have the same effect on our SR. |

Aubyanne, did the ascendant match as well? I'm thinking this all through with yours and Cerdwen's feedback.
|
Ceridwen | I was wondering if maybe the reason for the ASC`s conjunction for us is the fact that our Suns are so closely to exact one degree apart, which equals exact one day in time. And the angles are moving all through the zodiac within the span of one day, so the next day at approxmiately the same time would show a similiar ASC. That might be for P and me the reason, not sure what is for you though. |

They were in the same houses, yes. It was the same overall effect. And, it seems linked to, either having the same ASC and SUN, or, as I'm learning, a mathematical relationship between the SUN being close to the SUN, (perhaps less than 30º?) and the ASC's being trine. |
Ceridwen | our ASC`s are not trine though. I think it has something to do with the exact angular distance between the two suns. and the daily motion of the rising signs. |
llewsacm | I ran a few test charts, and it appears the similarities have to do with the time of birth, and of course time zone as mentioned. Still, I ran a chart using +1 day on date of birth minus 5 years, to match Cerdwens example, but they don't match perfectly still. Hence, the natal ascendant would factor in somehow. I'm gonna keep diggin. Thanks for the feedback! |
