T O P I C R E V I E WstarchaserSo what orb is allowed in composite? starchaserI'm actually interested in a mars-saturn square of 8 or 9 degrees..is it strong enough to ruin everything? starchaserbump starchaserBUMP!!!!!!Ceridwenask a dozen astrologers and you might get two dozens answers. SEems we can never agree on an orb. Personally I would not consider orbs greater than 6 degrees in a composite (unless they are part of larger aspectconfigurations) and take them really serious if being under 3 degrees. The thing is an aspect does not simply stops working at one orb, it is slowly fading out. Usually the more exact an aspect, the stronger it is felt (but there are exception to that rule too). However an 8 or 9 degree orb would never be that strong. starchaser quote:Originally posted by Ceridwen:ask a dozen astrologers and you might get two dozens answers. So for example a conjunction with sun or moon can go up to 8° while a square or trine i wouldn't count on more than 5°, others might use different orbs, but one thing is for sure, the tighter the orb, the stronger the aspect !
