T O P I C R E V I E WAstro keenHi Todd,Would you please look at this composite: what is likely to present challenges in particular. We certainly have those despite the great connection and would like to understand what's causing them. I've added the synastry too, in case it is helpful. Thank you! toddHi astro keenRight off the top there is an extremely difficult aspect with Pluto square to Saturn and Saturn conjunct the node. Saturn node shows a very charge environment. It can be financial/socially or politically charges. It can mark a highly adept psychic person but ti is focused on control. Not real good for relationships. Pluto square to Saturn is a cold and distance aspect. It tends to domineer and expect submission. This aspect does not compromise so relationships are always difficult. The sun is biquintile to the moon. This makes for a energetic relationship but there is much friction involved as both persons need to retain heir individuality. Again composite is difficult with this aspect an often there can be incessant nit picking. With psyche conjunct to Uranus and octile to the mars/eros conjunction, the relationship has a very idealistic and romantic attraction. Uranus gives immediate and electric attraction . this can also give a psychic feel and you may have common dream states. But the Saturn/pluto aspect coupled with the eros/mars/psyche/Uranus octile bodes the relationship will not sustain itself because these are opposite impulse. One is the mountain top of emotional inspiration, the other is the abyss of personal dejection and despondency. The point is that the highs and lows are too far apart. Any relationship need to have a middle ”emotional” ground where the normal routines of intimacy can develop. Here there is no level emotional ground ,it is all exaltation or brooding loneness. With Jupiter opposed to the vertex and the moon/Jupiter midpoint conjunct the node and Saturn, there are impulses for a serious relationship , possibly even marriage has come to your mind. With the mars/venus midpoint at 3libra27 and the venus/Jupiter midpoint at 0libra36, it would seem that you met or became intimate in the late summer of 2015 when the node transited these degrees. When the node transited the composite mercury and the Neptune/pluto midpoint at 29virg32 and 29vrig3, it is likely that communication became a bit cloudy and your feelings toward each other subtlety changed. The mars semi square to Uranus is very independent emotionally and usually shows a man who needs his personal freedom.toddllewsacm[QUOTE]Originally posted by todd:[B] Pluto square to Saturn is a cold and distance aspect. I'm also curious how it might be colored with harmonious aspects from Saturn to the asc/des axis. Astro keenThank you. You said it! - "One is the mountain top of emotional inspiration, the other is the abyss of personal dejection and despondency." That is exactly how it is, but only for me I think. He does not see anything amiss, although has his doubts, I'm sure.We actually met much earlier. Summer 2015 was more of a no contact period. With regard to Pluto square Saturn, would one of us expect to dominate, and if so, who? The relationship has been unequal, with him being in control because of his unavailability. Would you say that is the Pluto square Saturn effect?todd quote:Originally posted by llewsacm:[QUOTE]Originally posted by todd:[B] Pluto square to Saturn is a cold and distance aspect. Good info. Thanks Todd! Astro keenThanks very much Todd. Do you think on balance the negative aspects outweigh the positive aspects in this composite? Or would that depend on the people in question, i.e., how they deal with their challenges?toddgenerally hard aspects with satrun, pluto, chiron and hard Jupiter, neptune and utranus aspects overcome trines and sextiles in a composite, even with venus, mars, sunof course there are exceptions but overall this is what I have noticed. todd
