Bluejay | My Mars conjuncts his by 5 degrees in Sagittarius. I've read that it means you have similar ambitions and can be competitive with one another(especially in Sag), which could be good or bad. Also, that it can be good for people who work together. Oddly enough, this conjunction falls in my 10th house and we are in the same career field, but we don't work together. Our respective careers are complimentary, so it wouldn't be directly competitive, but I've always felt we would work well together. I was instantly attracted to him the moment I saw him, and the attraction was obviously mutual. Getting to know him and finding out what he did for a living only added to that attraction. He owns a business, and the fact he's his own boss and a self made man is sooooo sexy to me. Has anyone ever experienced this aspect in synastry? Was it too hot to handle? |
vickymadness | not intense or "too hot to handle" , it's very very very playful though. I wouldn't say competitive, but expect lost of arguments. I had this couple of times. It was in Gemini. |
Bluejay | I could see two Gemini Mars having a lot of verbal squabbles, that sounds about right. For some reason this aspect seems to be hard to find any information on. What I did find seemed pretty generic. The fact that I've found so little information on it makes me think it's not a good conjunction to have. |
LexusVirgo | Yes I found him sooooo attractive.. And we were a lot alike in habits.. |
Abc333 | I would say a Mars conjunct Mars in synastry could definitely have the potential of mutual sexual attraction but I also think it could stimulate competitive and/ or aggressive traits as well. Kind of like always trying to one up one another. ------------------ http://astrologicallyyours.com/ |
StillTippin | Yea I wouldn't call it intense either. From what I've experienced it is very playful. It's physical to say the least When I had it with another person, we rarely argued maybe it was because we express our anger the same way idk but it was a lot easier to handle than mars square mars which was far more intense

Dancing Maenad | Hmm I am very curious how this conjunction in ARIES will play out. |
CapriciousCapricorn | What's the maximum orb allowed? Anybody here had this wide and still felt it? I'm thinking that Mars in the same sign is probably stronger even if it's not conjunct by aspect than the one with a very wide orb. Correct? |

Go and engage in sports you two, together! No excuse not to now ) |
Electro DGX | I have a Mars in Scorpio conjunction with a friend of mine. She's a Taurus and I'm an Aquarius (her Mars is Retrograde however). We always like to mess with each other, but sometimes it would spiral into arguments and we would be angry with each other until later, when we felt guilty for our actions and apologized lol. She typically says that she can open up to me only. It's easy for me to tell because she usually acts different in-front of other people compared to when it's just me and her. Things can also get out of control really easily lol. |

nordicsoul | mars conjunct mars indicate similar approach in the way you go for what you want.. you know aries mars go straight ahead. mars in cancer want others to feel comfortable with the move and then, they go in circles, and so on... I have had this twice and to be honest there was no spark. it is funny because my mars in cancer conjunct venus. that means that any person conjunct my mars is also conjunct my venus, but nothing. I dont know what it is, but i find them lack of something...too feminine for my taste |
Faith | edit - Sorry, didn't see it was about romantic synastry. No experience there. |
