next to neptune | OMG have you ever tried this aspect with someone? It's amazing! You feel so lucky together, AND you ARE lucky together!I have this aspect in my natal chart but it is wide (9 degrees) In my synastry it is around 6 degrees, but I feel it so very much! |
FireMoon | Edit lol it's a nice aspect... The Jupiter person makes the Asc person feel "unconditionally" accepted and comfortable with who they are... |
vickymadness | Yes and it's underrated. Anything with Jupiter in synastry is amazing but underrated at the same time. |
Jo B | I have it wide with a good male friend (his Scorpio Jupiter conjuncts my Libra Asc). And yes I do feel accepted, warts and all. I don't put on an act for him (why should I pretend to be something I'm not?) and he seems to like me all the same. It's almost like having a benevolent father figure watching over you. lol |
Supreme cT | Just realized i had this aspect with my ex gf i was jupiter in libra and she was sun and ascending libra i conjuncted her sun and rising sign by 2 degrees we had a lot of fun together and i was deff her lucky charm but than my sun also conjuncted her jupiter so we had it double whammy |
Sandra018 | I don't believe I had it, but it would have to be amazing!! Anything Jupiter touches in a good way has to feel "golden" I had Jupiter sq Jupiter in synastry and it was awful... |
geminigal2805 | A very cute guy's Jupiter conjuncts my Desc. Wonder what that means. He is very adorable around me. Forgives all my random behaviour. Best part he makes me laugh a lottt. Another guys Saturn conjuncts my Desc. Eeeks. Synastry is true afte all. The way this person changed me. I am more matured and feel wiser/older around him. This person is always there for me. Nice guy tho. Wish he would learn to have some fun in life. |
manderin | Jupiter's not always good... but it does always make you FEEL good and that's where trouble can lie. For example, a tight Jupiter square Mars makes a couple feel invincible and like they can get away with bad behavior, when in reality they can't and it can get them in trouble. Anyone have someone put their Jupiter & Saturn conjunct their Ascendant at the same time? I wonder what that's like. |

Oh yes, with mine too. In fact I don't think I've ever met someone who just cracks me up after a few sentences of conversation the way he does. It's like living in a permanent sitcom with him around. |
PlutoSurvivor | In Sideral astrology Jupiter conjunct any of the angles is given much weight. |
DeepFreeze | her Jupiter conjunct my asc, Mars, and mercury. BOOOOOM! My Jupiter trines her Jupiter, sun, moon, mercury. I think Jupiter is underrated a lot... All the time. It brings a "happy go lucky".... Fun and free feeling while expanding things it touches. It seems like it's only expanding the good stuff. Manderin makes a good point though. I don't think it's as bad as other squares, though. |
fireopal09 | Jupiter/ Ascendant double whammy. Also, my Jupiter trines his Venus/Uranus/Pluto conjunction. BIG FUN. ------------------ Claire "When going gets weird, the weird turn pro." -HST |

Yup, that is also us, though it's the opposition, but it is double whammy! So we actually have ascendant opposition saturn both ways, and jupiter conjunction ascendant too… I think that thanks to the jupiter we are able to make a lot of fun, so nothing seems to ever get "too serious" between us… but I think it also has to do with our natal charts, we both got prominent 5th house and saturn at the same time… think we are used to having fun and having to be serious at the same time, it feels very balanced! And he is also balance, the libra |
Queen Salome | What about RETROGRADE Jupiter conjunct ASC in synastry? Is the feeling the same or the opposite? |

Elysia | I just *discovered* this year how great Jupiter can be. Maybe 'coz it's my Jupiter return? Anyway -- Jupiter, whatever planet it's associating with -- is a big, hearty dose of the feel-good-factor. The more and/or closer Jupiter connections in synastry, the better that person will make you feel. I find it hard to differentiate Jupiter - Ascendant and Jupiter-Sun. Both make the planet/angle person feel bolstered. I guess Jupiter-Asc might be more apparent to people outside the relationship. Jupiter-Sun is their private party. (Depending on the signs and people involved). The Jupiter-Asc couple is the popular couple, the lucky couple. The couple that makes others feel included. On their own, they may or may not be that noticeable, but together they sure are. I could go on about Moon, Merc, Venus & Mars -- coz those Jupiter contacts are pretty awesome too, each in their own way. |
mereiposa | I have his Jupiter conjunct my DSC, and I read that is similar to Jupiter conjunct Venus. I find that interesting bcs his ex wife of 20 years had her Venus conjunct his Jupiter, so essentially it's like running into the same connection? His Aphrodite, an octave of Venus, is on my ASC, so it would have been opposite her Venus. I don;t know her ASC though, or his for that matter. He told me shortly after he met me that he has only been this crazy about a person once in his life, and he was married to her for 20 years. I looked at their synastry and compared it to ours and don't see any other connections I can think of that would account for this. |
