T O P I C R E V I E WSunAscendantAccording to Magi astrologers, this is a true love aspect, but omg I disagree. I have this with someone who I'm hopelessly still pining for after we broke up five months ago. My Chiron tightly sextiles his Venus while his Chiron tightly trines my Venus. I seriously doubt the heartbreak affects him as much as it affects me despite the fact that it should according to this aspect. Be careful if you have this in synastry. Seriously, despite the fact that this is a "soulmate" bond and highly ups the chance of marriage between two people, I say that this isn't true all the time. Also, this guy and I have a really good synastry and composite, so it's weird that things didn't pan out.Lucia23Ugh, I'm so sorry for your pain. It sure doesn't sound like a very pleasant or romantic double whammy, despite what the magi astrologers say.Happily married Lindalanders--or even just married Lindalanders--do you have this with your partner?Ceridwenmy parents have the square - very happily married to each other. I have the trine with someone (I am Venus). Never known anyone else who could make me feel so at ease with myself and feeling at home in my own skin. So I certainly can`t confirm that. If there is a DW in synastry, there might be an aspect in the composite, too, even if just a minor aspect. Trine and sextile could become a square in composite under certain circumstances. RandallMoving to Interpersonal Astrology.Lucia23Ceridwen, is your parents' square a DW or just a one-way aspect? If a DW, what signs are their Venuses and Chiron?I have this one way with many of my crushes/exes. jjjI have this w someone -my Aries Chiron conjuncts his Aries venus and his Aqua Chiron squares my Scorpio venus. Never felt so strong love for anyone. There has been a lot of heartbreak and we are not together, but the connection is still ongoing and God knows what will happen... Very special and painful connection. The orbs are wide - 5 degrees, but the Venus -Chiron conjunction translates into a tight parallel. It is at the same time his Venus opp my uranus/Chiron, so uranus adds a crazy twist, also reflected in parallels. It electrifies the energy and pushes us apart, as too much too handle, but we are handling it better after 4 yrs...yungang_grottoI had the trine double whammy with my daughter's father. We haven't seen each ohte for about 4 years but I still love him and he seems to love me too... my Venus is conjunct his Sun/Moon midpoint like 0'01 minute too. Even the 'easy' aspects between Venus and Chiron can indicate a high likelihood of some emotional pain. We had a huge amount between us and it is just mellowing out a bit now, but it will always be bitter sweet. That's why Magi calls it a true love aspect... because you love each other through the pain. The pain is the crucible, the fire through which you experience the truth of unconditional love...It's hard to understand and doesn't come right away. It's very very VERY painful, words don't do it justice. But facing the pain and coming through it and feeling it and loving still--ah, that's good! That's powerful! They say if you love something to let it go... that is often the lesson with our close relationships... think of what they really need/want... think of their happiness.EmGemMy Chiron conjuncts his Venus but it's a 9 degree orb. Is that too wide?We do love each other u conditionally though. I've never experienced true unconditional love until I met him. I understand what it means now, to love through the pain and suffering. We also have composite Venus conjunct Chiron but is 7 degrees wide. Too wide??Ceridwen quote:Originally posted by Lucia23:Ceridwen, is your parents' square a DW or just a one-way aspect? Luckily there`s is only one way. my Dad`s Chiron on 18 Sagsquaremy Mom?s Venus on 18 Virgo (on his ASC-Saturn on 18 Virgo)His Mercury is on 18 Cap, trine her Venus, and he`s always willing to talk everything out, they really do talk a lot. lolOh well, no, they do have the DW, as my Moms Chiron on 29 Sag is exactly semisquare his Venus on 14 Aquarius (2 minutes orb)(the semisquare is not as minor as people believe in my observation, but of course not a major aspect either, nevertheless both aspects are of the same harmonic, 8th, so it certainly could be considered a DW).Anyway, his Venus is square my Mom`s Mercury on 12 Scorpio, so SHE is also always willing to talk with him about everything, though she occasionally does it in a slightly more confrontial way than he does. But it certainly works to clear up any misunderstandings between them. CeridwenIn my case I wouldn´t say it`s so much pain, but it really gets under the skin, and having someone reach such a deep place, where you are totally naked and vulnerable, can make for a feeling of rawness and intensity that borders on pain, or most people associate with pain. You know when you ache for something or someone so much, that it feels like it actually tears on your insides? Even though it is no real pain, but just missing someone, longing or however you may call it. That is what Chiron does for me. So some might name what I feel as pain perhaps, for me it is just a mix of depth, vulnerability, emotional nakedness, almost defencelessness, and just something really getting under my skin. Are there any slow moving planets squaring or opposing your Chiron in your natal chart?
