Sure there's a past-life connection since the South Node is connected, but what else can you tell me about this conjunction in synastry?I don't believe in past lives but since SN is about what we're comfortable/familiar with, then Moon in conjunction with SN would mean feeling emotionally secure and familiar. It is said that the SN person will eventually pull away because unlike NN, SN does not progress so the SN person will eventually feel "stuck". I've not experienced Moon-SN but I've SN conjunct Venus with my bestie (I'm SN). I felt smothered by her.. initially I liked it because I like the way she cared for me but I eventually "outgrew" it and broke away. I didn't want her to care for me in that way anymore as I felt "restricted" like she treated me like a little gal who couldn't take care of herself (I'm 3yrs younger than her). We're still best friends but she knows she should not smother me anymore. She still does it sometimes but I will stop her. The planet person has to let the SN person grow, mature and move forward. capricorncherisctyPlanets conjunct the SN in synastry will start off feeling great in the area of the planet and its house and sign placement, but will eventually bring a burden on the SN person if there is nothing in synastry uplifting their NN in this process. With Moon conjunct SN, there is intense emotional security and comfort in one another's presence. Feelings of love and happiness might've developed quickly, if not a bit lustfully due to the very intense power of the SN. But it's like a crash and burn thing if there is nothing holding the other side up. NN person eventually gets burned out, they feel used and abused in the areas related to the planet conjunct the SN. They start to realize that they are probably a bit disillusioned and possessive with their partner in that planet's matters and it tends to cause stress on this person's behalf once they realize this.It is an intense bond to have a planet conjunct the SN. Intense because they feel intensely entwined and powerful together and intense because there is a lack of stability in the relationship after some time. It would be like eating good 5-star food at a fancy restaurant and it just looks so beautiful and tastes fantastic in your mouth with every bite but then a few days later you start vomiting and break into heat and sweats; you've caught a virus. As someone who has an outer planet conjunct SN and thus with many people born in a similar timeframe, I can say that it is a struggle...It can be worked around if the NN is alleviated somehow but if not, be prepared to kind of feel like sh*t as you spend more and more time with them. Hate to say it like that, but that seems to be the case.capricorncherisctyI've also experienced Sun conjunct SN several times in synastry before and it is like what Hikaru said. They were nice to have around at first, but they became suffocating. Ego issues of the Sun started to ruin my nodal energy, I ended up always being a little irked around them, even if they were just minding their business. We're cordial now but it's clear we're never going to be close because they just feel like an egomaniac, a complete a** the more and more I think about all that they've done.SunAscendant quote:Originally posted by Hikaru29: I don't believe in past lives but since SN is about what we're comfortable/familiar with, then Moon in conjunction with SN would mean feeling emotionally secure and familiar. Yeah with their moon conjunct my south node I do find myself getting a little upset and emotional when they go 3 days without a text. I actually got so upset by it that I just texted him and said his behavior was extremely bothersome to me and I didn't like it. He actually responded better than I thought he would even though I was calling him out. Perhaps since our Aries Venuses are conjunct (almost exact conjunction) we can both appreciate a lover who is straightforward and doesn't take any bullsh*t from anyone.
