T O P I C R E V I E WNineKnowflakes, what has been your experience with this aspect - Venus 27°, Jupiter 26° (Taurus). This aspect is part of a complex:Sun conjunct SunSun opposite MoonSun conjunct VenusMoon opposite VenusMoon opposite Venus*Venus conjunct JupiterVenus conjunct SaturnpVenus conjunct pVenusWhat do these aspects tell you about a possible relationship between this couple?*Yes, double whammy.athenaiaI had Sun conj Sun, Sun opp Moon and Venus conj Jupiter with someone I dated for a few months last summer. Sun conj Sun meant we had a freakish amount of things in common - same patterns in former relationships, same birth order, same relationship with our parents, same friendship styles, etc. Venus conj Jupiter.. honestly extremely overrated in my opinion. Maybe it's because I was the Venus. If anything I would say this aspect is quite addictive - Venus constantly seeking that endorphin high from the Jupiter person. Lots of excess, lots of decadence. But nothing light, sweet, adoring, loving. Venus/Jupiter reminds me of those excessive party scenes from the 1970's.. lots of sinful delight without the spiritual component you'd think would be there with Jupiter prominent.Sun opposite Moon... yeah not a fan of this. The other person has a natal Full Moon and you get sucked into their personal psychological drama as the added Sun to the equation. You're often the therapist, the neutral outsider to their own neurosis. At the time I had a lot of fun with this person but when I look back on it I'm really glad it never turned into a committed relationship. This was a common aspect among married couples found by Carl Jung when he did his astrology research. quote:At the time I had a lot of fun with this person but when I look back on it I'm really glad it never turned into a committed relationship. Aww..athenaiaI did! My Saturn was square their Venus (0°)His Saturn was square my Mars (0°)My Saturn was also trine his Sun (2°)and my Saturn was sextile his Moon (0°) Allowing for much wider orbs, his Saturn was in a t-square with my Mars and his Mars (the signs being Sagittarius, Gemini and Pisces) Sun opp Moon may be popular but I suppose it's different when one native has a Full Moon in their chart, probably flavors the equation a bit differently when someone intervenes with that aspect via synastry vansioJupiter extremely tolerant of the other person (which can lead to excess). I’ve had Jupiter-ASC double whammy, Jupiter-Venus, Jupiter-Mars, and we were really forgiving of each other’s behavior. To this day can forgive him for dumping me to chase another girl (and trashing my own life in the interim) - it’s kind of whack.
