Can anyone give any insight into this?Bismarck2 quote:Originally posted by MarsSaturnDelight:So, I have this DW with someone:my sun(2nd) in her 8th conjunct her Saturn in her 7thMy mars (10th) in her 4th trine her sun in her 8th.I have read that the DW is a fated/karmic and very binding inter aspect. Can anyone give any insight into this? It's not fated, but anything involving saturn may be karmic, which usually translates to attractive but painful. As for mutual aspects, they are neither fated nor karmic. Hey thanks. So are you saying that having a Sun/Saturn DW has less of a karmic effect that a stand alone synastry aspect? What do you think to the binding potential of this aspect?Bismarck2 quote:Originally posted by MarsSaturnDelight: Hey thanks. So are you saying that having a Sun/Saturn DW has less of a karmic effect that a stand alone synastry aspect? What do you think to the binding potential of this aspect?Like I said, anything involving Saturn is karmic, doubly so if it's a mutual aspect. If it's an easy aspect like a trine, sextile, novile, or quintile it will definitely add some longevity. If it's a challenging aspect it might actually cause obstacles for two people getting together. However, I think you're misunderstanding what "karmic" means. It means that through this relationship you can burn through your negative karmas. Once the karmas are dealt with, the relationship usually ends. If the Saturn aspects are harsh does this mean it would be harder to burn through your negative karmas? Also would it be the Saturn person in synastry thats dealing with their own karma through the relationship of the other planet person? Thanks for the clarification; your previous post read otherwise. In terms of karma and Saturn, I think I am getting the picture regarding the relationship between the two; so I get that part. It’s the binding potentially between of the DW that interests me. So by your description, the binding potential of Saturn (as this is a quality of Saturn) relates to how quickly the respective person ‘burns’ through karma? Or is that not what you mean? What’s Saturn’s role moving forward? There must be much more to Saturn once the ‘karma’ has been satisfied.Bismarck2 quote:Originally posted by MarsSaturnDelight: Thanks for the clarification; your previous post read otherwise. In terms of karma and Saturn, I think I am getting the picture regarding the relationship between the two; so I get that part. It’s the binding potentially between of the DW that interests me. So it forces you to mature. In a relationship, it's not fun.In the end, people have free-will. They can choose to stay together once the relationship stops growing, but that usually equates to boredom for a lot of people. After the karma has been dealt with, the relationship becomes a a sefety-net. It becomes your comfort zone. Challenging aspects can be so heavy that they actually prevent the relationship from forming. Easy aspects force a manageable amount of maturity into a relationship. RandallBump!Hikaru29DWs in synastry show the relationship's main theme. Saturn is definitely binding (it's responsibility... I've to take care of you...make sure you're ok... kinda bond). It is not uncommon to find Saturn hard aspects in long-term couples and usually I see a mix of hard and harmonious aspects. Btw, your Sun conj her Saturn and your Mars trine her Sun. How is that a DW?MarsSaturnDelight quote:Originally posted by Hikaru29:DWs in synastry show the relationship's main theme. Saturn is definitely binding (it's responsibility...
