T O P I C R E V I E WdribabyAny experiences with this placement??RandallBump!SecretGeek...GalacticCoreExplosion Considering Pluto is so slow moving and generational in nature, unless there are very, very close aspects, the two people are from different generations, and/or both are strongly attuned to Pluto in natal sense--then it's not going to be a particularly pertinent placement. You literally share these same positions with tons and tons of people--especially if they are of the same general generation. If it falls under especially two or more of the above conditions, then there can be an obsessive tone to the connection, usually more from one to another. Obviously topics like sex, death, various mysteries and taboo subjects will tend to come up between them. Sometimes a strong sexual chemistry/attraction, though not necessarily mutual. It's somewhat hard to overly generalize, because you cannot separate one position from the rest of the chart interactions. It can vary widely from couple to couple depending on the other positions, interaspects, etc. It's hard to perceive in more non linear, gestalt, holistic, big picture type ways when new to newish to astrology, but ultimately it's that integrative synthesis, and not just focusing on individual parts, which is really going to unlock a more accurate and helpful use of astrology. But when most start out, most focus on the individual parts. It just takes time and often lots of practice to start doing the former more and more.implosionsI have a Scorpio stellium natally in the 7/8th so most millenials end up with their Pluto in my 8th.Let's just say everyone has an impact on me in some way. I have a hard time not seeing someone with DEPTH when their Pluto falls here. Power struggles were a huge thing when I was younger, often where I felt under anyone's thumb. I still sometimes have to wrangle myself out of this as most millenials (or Pluto placements, but I mostly speak on Scorpio Pluto) have a subconscious Zero Sum Game going on.On a more positive side, it can have two people, fully in their personal power, meet as equals. Think power couple. Be that platonic or otherwise.Romantic involvement here can be tricky because a sexual element usually means heightened emotions (hormones). Still the same theory at play, just more intense.anska5@GalacticCoreExplosionYou mention that it may be more obsessively felt by one person. In your experience does this apply more often to the house or the planet person (i.e. pluto) in this mix? I have this synastry placement with someone and there is indeed a big age gap (18 years) AND the other person (the 8th house person) is extremely plutonic. P.S. I'm pluto in our synastryGalacticCoreExplosion Unfortunately I don't think there is a hard and fast rule about that. Just from perusing this forum alone, you will see a lot of people differ on this. One Synastry book I have said that it's usually the Planet person who feels it more in the case of the 5th and 8th Houses, but I'm not sure that is always or even often true. I mean, part of me would like it to be true, because someone I'm very attracted to has their Venus in my 8th, but at the end of the day I know that's not objective. RandallBump!RandallBump!
