T O P I C R E V I E WSara1984Hi everybody!I'm Sara, I'm from Italy and I'm scorpio asc. Gemini with a super stellium in 6th house! Here is my natal chart: Is there anyone else who has Chiron opposite Venus and Uranus? How could I interpret it?Thanks SaraAyeletHi Sara, welcome! I also have Chiron opposite Uranus, but without Venus in the mix. I have a whole book about Chiron by Barbara Hand Clow. Let's see what she has to say about Chiron opposite Venus:"Chiron opposite Venus creates a receptivity to the alchemical nature of Venus which is almost overpowering. The native is completely receptive and open to others, and unless great control is indicated in the chart by other planetary positions and aspects (me: you are a Scorpio sun, that would do it, right?), he or she is very nervous. This native is alluring, often seems to be from another planet, and often has unusual intuitive understanding of the esoteric because of the ancient occult connection with Venus..." There is a continuation, but it's too long and elaborates about some esoteric connection between Chiron and Venus from 1500 B.C. Do you find this true for you?A lot is also written about Chiron opposite Uranus, but so many people were born with this configuration, so even though it is very interesting, I won't copy it here.GrahamHi Sara ... and welcome. My guess is that (to understand the Chiron oppositions) you will need to look into the whole "boomerang" configuration of Mercury-Jupiter-Chiron and the Venus/Uranus mid-point.However ... what is immediately apparent (and particularly interesting) is how Chiron is pulling your "bundle" formation out of the western hemisphere and into the eastern hemisphere (of the natal chart). Wow.. this is so true! I am extremely empathetic and often nervous! I'm a scorpio sun but I can't always control emotions, especially because I'm instinctive and I always say what I think. I really should control myself more, but it's really hard for me!Thanks so much, it was really revealing Sara1984 quote:Originally posted by Graham:Hi Sara ... and welcome. There is so much information on the internet these days, but the information on Chiron is still fairly scarce.I also read what Graham wrote to you. I haven't yet learned about yods. But concerning Chiron alone in the eastern hemisphere of the chart, relating to the other planets in the western hemisphere, yes, if I am not mistaken it can show an aspiration your whole nature is leaning towards. Do you feel you have a calling or a natural inclination in regards to any sort of healing? Sometimes it happens that in order not to make anyone suffer, I often prefer to take my happiness away. Especially in love affairs I know that pattern of putting oneself on hold for the sake of someone else. It's interesting what you say about healing, because giving up your happiness for another can imply a tendency for self sacrifice, which I think maybe many therapists can initially suffer from. But it's not like I've done research on the subject. I read the link Graham added about the hemispheres, and most of your planets reside in the hemisphere which stresses the other, which thing may insinuate you have a tendency to put others before yourself. So I wonder what's the real meaning of Chiron in your chart, since, located alone in the east, it stands out.I feel like I can think I have all the answers, but then, when love comes, it takes me by surprise and I learn about myself things I didn't know. GrahamIn mythology, the pain of Chiron's wound led him to explore medicine for a potential cure - and that exploration gave him the knowledge to become a healer of others. And, in this natal chart, the pain of the Chiron wound will lead to an exploration which (otherwise) would not have happened/been required. Hence, Chiron is pulling the one-lifetime-ego in a direction that it would not otherwise choose to go.Chiron in Gemini wounds by making the person feel/think he/she is a poor communicator. That results in him/her working harder to communicate than does the average person - and he/she then becomes an expert communicator, who is able to help others to overcome their own communication issues. And here, 12th house activities are the focus of this exploration ... So, what was a hidden psychological enemy ultimately becomes a mechanism for serving others.RandallAh, Chiron. Good stuff!RandallThanks, Graham!Sara1984wow .. all these words are really inspiring.
