PlutoWasHere | Hi! My name is PlutoWasHere and I am a 40-something female from Europe. I have been lurking around this forum for a little while now but have not been active. Lately, I have hit a bit of a personal rough patch with Uranus transiting my Taurus stellium - aka midlife crisis. It has me questioning everything and most likely contributed to my new interest in astrology. I have been reading a lot about astrology and also started keeping a personal astrology journal. But I am still a beginner and really hope to learn from this forum and achieve a greater understanding in astrology and all things related. Nice to meet you! Lots of love, PlutoWasHere |

mirage29 | Hi and Welcome PlutoWasHere Saw a few of your posts, and you are already adding MUCH by your presence here. Nice to Meet You ~ Which House is Uranus currently ravaging through? *smiling* 'Pluto' was here? .. In Libra? Is there a story behind your choice of that name? |
PlutoWasHere | Thank you GCE and mirage! You have been very kind and welcoming to me. |

Uranus is going through my H8. I am a Libra Rising and my stellium is in Taurus (Sun 18Taurus, south node 13Taurus, Jupiter 10Taurus and Venus 7Taurus). So I probably can look forward to some unexpected transformations. quote: Originally posted by mirage29: *smiling* 'Pluto' was here? .. In Libra? Is there a story behind your choice of that name?
I have my Pluto 9Libra exact conjunct my ASC 9Libra in my natal chart. In progression I have a Scorpio ASC but Pluto is no longer on my ASC. And I also don't expect to ever have a Pluto transit to my ASC in my lifetime. So Pluto was here...

GalacticCoreExplosionV2 | There are some threads around that talk about the two different ways to calculate the progressed Ascendant. Anyways, using the proper, more accurate way, the Asc moves MUCH faster than the default setting at astro.com. On average, it changes a sign every month to a month and a half or so. In the other method, it stays in the same sign for a very long time. |

Thank you for this info GCE. I didn't know there were two different ways of calculating the progressed ASC. I guess my username should have been "PlutoReturns".

GalacticCoreExplosionV2 | I didn't know either until I had read about it here, but I had wondered about it previously since the Asc is the fastest moving important point in a chart, and yet the progressed Asc moved slower than progressed Moon. Kannon is one of the people that has addressed this issue well/holistically. |
