T O P I C R E V I E WStawrTo sum it all up, I want to move out of my parents soon. Not saying I have it bad, just that I am adult and that is normal behavior to want your own place. hahaGoing to redo my room and thought maybe I should try going with painting my walls colors that attract wealth. StawrEmerald green: This is an inspiring and uplifting color suggesting abundance and wealth in all its forms, from material wellbeing, to emotional wellbeing to creative ideas.Grass green: Grass green is the color of money. It is self-confident and secure, natural and healthy, occurring in abundance in nature. Burgundy: a dark purplish red, it is more sophisticated and serious and less energetic than true red. It indicates controlled power, determined ambition and dignified action and is often favored by the wealthy. The color gold is the color of success, achievement and triumph. Associated with abundance and prosperity, luxury and quality, prestige and sophistication, value and elegance, the psychology of this color implies affluence, material wealth and extravagance. http://www.empower-yourself-with-color-psychology.com/color-gold.html StawrUgh now my boyfriend thinks I'm nuts...should of just kept this "stuff" to my self. I guess I got a little too confident since I've been able open up to him about astrology. Didn't put it all out there at first I didn't show him that side of me until a year and a half into it. I made him intrigued. Probably came on too strong. But I pretty much let him know I don't care what he thinks of it, and I regret opening up to him. But since he is a mature guy he said I'd have to educate him more. RandallHe'll be okay.LexxigramerStawr {{{hugs}}}And I think your money summoning/attracting idea is cool! RandallWhy not use all of the green colors?RandallOn a charm or something.StawrThanks everybody. Yeah I just came on too strong with it, so he got turned off. Which is usually not like me at all with my beliefs. I'm usually good at feeling out what I can and cannot say to people. I usually lure him into asking me what I know about certain things...like astrology and gems by giving him little hints, or just him witnessing me talk talking to other people about it, and/or if he has a guy friend into the same stuff and knows I'm into things too. haha. But whatever people want to think, studies show that there is at least psychological moods to colors. People use certain colors for marketing because of that. And communicating that though text, people can take things the wrong way. I came across as a gullible wacko, and he came across as a know it all douche making all these assumptions about me. So then I let him know that he sounded like a small minded know it all douche. Plus my time of the month, made me aggravated. Cause he came around for astrology and gems, I can't just assume he is going to be receptive right away to my other beliefs cause all of them took time for him to show an interest. my sister's husband thinks she is crazy for making a money room and buying feng shui things for the house...but he ends up coming around or at least tolerating it. And I reminded myself not to take it so personal because he has beliefs I'm skeptical of, like big foot. RandallI would never have guessed burgundy, though.RandallBut gold, yes.RandallSame here about bigfoot. RandallAnd the Loch Ness Monster.
