mambo | I have just read three articles on that site and it is nothing new to me. I've had an interest in these things for a long time now. I don't trust any government that "Governs" my country or any other. I'm a conspiracy theorist and the most blatant is the petroleum industry holding countries to ransom. I can remember in the 70's when we had car-less days because OPEC said that the oil reserves would start running out around 2000. It was just scaremongering and their greed to get the price they wanted. My mum told me about a big oil field that had been discovered off the west coast of the South Island back in 2000, she knew a press reporter who was in Ross and started talking to some Australian riggers who let slip what they were doing there. This reporter heard rumours of the find and wanted to know for sure. This find has been capped and is one of the biggest in the Southern Hemisphere, and the company that has the rights is an American one that is waiting for the American wells to start drying up. There are also others doing the same in North Canterbury, there is a Australian/Indonesian multinational conducting geological surveys and from what the press say, it is one of the largest in New Zealand. What really irks me is that in the early 80's the government of the time built an oil refinery at Marsden Point, and local geologists have confirmed that New Zealand has big oil deposits just waiting to get exploited, but the companies doing the exploiting aren't from New Zealand they're from overseas. So nothing surprises me! As for the FDA that's another story, there have been cures for cancer since the 1930's and by doctors and professors of medicine, so they can't be considered quacks. These are genuine people that have others best interests at heart and get forced to defend themselves in court until they're forced into bankruptcy or they give up and concede defeat. This should not happen in the world today...are we living in the 21st century or the dark ages? We live in a very sorry world and we need a big shake up, we need to start standing up to authority, are we goats or sheep?

Harpyr | interesting.. I glanced at the article about life after death and it mentioned experiments that are done on volunteers in which they drain all the blood out of a person's body till there is no detectibe brain activity and then put it all back and then note what experiences the person had while being dead. That doesn't sound like something that would be legal......It doesn't cite a source that I saw..strange.I thought the article on The Myth of Free Trade was good. Anybody who supports eliminating external taxes (taxes on imports/exports) must necessarily be in support of higher internal taxes (income, sales, property) if they want to have any support for a government. So the next time someone talks about how great free trade is you should ask them if they want higher income/sales/property taxes and if not then they must be anarchists right? |
