T O P I C R E V I E WproxiemeI just got a call from my b/f while he was leaving the ER. He fell asleep at the wheel and totalled his car; he only got banged up, but if he had been driving his normal car (a VW bug), he'd probably be dead.I've got to try to finneagle a ride from Union Station to Alexandria after catching a late train from NY Penn. I should get in a little after midnight, and metro stops running b/f then.Again, please wish me luck. Wish us both luck.>>>hug<<<lioneye68*LUCK*LUCK*LUCK*LUCK*LUCK*LUCK**LUCK*LUCK*LUCK*LUCK*LUCK*LUCK**LUCK*LUCK*LUCK*LUCK*LUCK*LUCK**LUCK*LUCK*LUCK*LUCK*LUCK*LUCK*AND FURTHER MORE....LUCK sweetpeas ------------------Peace cannot be achieved through violence, it can only be attained through understanding.- Ralph Waldo Emerson -Sunmeadow GladesI hope your boyfriend is doing okay. Gosh, his angels must have been watching over him. Having you there holding his hand and talking to him will definitely get him back on the path of recovery. Best of luck!! I crashed at his house, and then saw Jason most of yesterday. I bought Chinese food and kettle corn popcorn and rented _Periscope Down_ (b/c it's just silly, and he likes it), _The Goonies_ (b/c it rocks), and _Tears of the Sun_ (which we ended up not watching as it's depressing as heck). He's doing OK - bruised badly from where the seatbelt got him (it hurts him to laugh, etc) and burned on the wrists from where the airbag deployed, but nothing appears to be broken. He called everyone that he knows to warn them against driving while tired (6th House Moon in action, I guess), and he's being super vigilant re: me and driving home late (well, even more so).His car, on the other hand (a Honda Civic) looks like an accordian. He fell asleep going into work and drifted into the oncoming lane, hitting a Ford F-250 head-on. He said that he woke up to see the truck bearing down on him - and that when he saw the scene, he saw it from "a few feet above" where he was supposed to see it from (scared outta his body, I guess).I'm going over there right now to drop off the stuff that we pulled out of his car in the impound lot yesterday, and then we'll go over to his work to explain the ordeal and get his new schedule.Brah, I'm talking a lot.>>>hug<<< to All.
