T O P I C R E V I E Wghanima81Are you around? I'm on, and there's football on the telly... wanna chat or something?pixelpixieHi honey!Sorry, I missed you this morning. I came on, posted one thing,. then went off to practice with A BAND!!!! Which is very exciting for me. A Very last minute thing, I just found out about it yesterday.( They are very good, so I am excited, to say the least.. possibly intimidated too, though they will never know.......I sing, by the way, f you were wondering what thwe heck I was doing with a band.) Now I am off for a little backyard party type thing. I just came on, like any addiction, to check it out and see what was going on at LindaLand since I was away. I got a major fix of it this week, and that was terribly fun. My real life calls to me right now. I'll miss you all~! Probably be on later tonight, depending on how toasted I get, if at all. LibraSparkleHope you're having a blast Pix! There was a band at the Leo party last night. Cops came twice! Rock on!!!Sheaa OleinLeeeeoooo Paaarty.... *looking thoughtful*Ahh that's right the one you didn't invite me to!! Rock on guys! Tell more, both sound too good!! Hey ghanima81! ghanima81Pixie,That sounds pretty exciting!! What kind of music do they play? What is your style of singing? I write songs sometimes, but I can't play any instruments or ''write'' music, so unless I have a tape recorder handy, I always forget the tune I've just made up. I used to write stuff with my ex, he's AMAZING with all things musical. How was da partay??? Didn't do too much around here yesterday, just watched the telly and worked some more on the astrology course. It's so exciting!! Mr. Libra thinks I'm nuts for being so into astrology, but he supports it, so that's good. There was a really weird program on called ''Terror Attack: How to Survive Nuclear Fallout''. It's a weekly series hosted by an SAS survival expert, and it pretends there was just a major attack, and shows you what to expect, using actors and then clips of specialists telling you what to do. They were pretending there had been a nuclear bomb that went off in Plymouth (that's in Devon, down on the southwest part of England), and this guy built a shelter in his house, with just enough air to live in for 10 days, then set off to evacuate the city. He drove for a while, then abandoned his jeep as panic and rioting were a result of the centers being opened, also traffic out of town was bumper to bumper. He walked away with a rucksack full of beans, a compas, a sleeping bag, a map, and water. He walked for a few days into the wind (to keep himself out of the fallout radius)until he found a cave. He planned to stay in the cave until his food ran out, then make his way to another city. It was really cool, but at the same time, hopefully won't start people getting really paranoid. But it brought up an interesting point: would you be able to survive using only the most basic of needs? Could you strike out on your own (or with your family), and face the elements with only the bare minimum? We've gotten so accustomed to having everything, that I wonder myself if I could survive with close to nothing, if I would know how to read a map of the woods, or could follow a compas, or could read the wind direction by the clouds.... interesting.Oops, kinda went on there a bit... can you tell my mind is in overdrive??? I had the most bizzare dream last night, I'm going to post it in AR before I forget it. Really, REALLY strange.Hope you have a good day, and that you're not nursing a hangover....Libra Sparkle,HI!! Did you feel like a kiddie again, when the cops came. Like, ''sh@t guys, it's the 5-0.... hide the beer''? Ha haha! The good ol' days! Was it fun?Hiya, Sheaa Olein!! I'm loving the smilies, especially the one dancing like a college boy!! tee hee!! ghanima81I haven't seen you in ages!! Must be keeping busy.... have you gotten on mIRC yet? I've got it all figured out. I just wish we were all around at the same time so we could have a group chatty-thingy. I think it would be sooooo funny!!Hope you are having a good day, darlin'!!Love and light,GhaniLibraSparkleI forgot all about that mIRC thingy... I have it downloaded. I just have to play with it now
