BR,

These religious people want to believe so badly. Why is so hard to accept that what we see is what we get?
Much the same could be said about astrology, could it not, BR?
It's not that religious people "WANT" to believe, it's that they DO believe.
Maybe religious people do accept that what they see is what they get, it's just that what they see is not the same as what others may see. Maybe they see beyond the natural realm into the unseen and which is true reality? Is this world the true reality or is the supernatural world actually the true reality? In this world we can create our own realities. In the supernatural realm we cannot do that. We don't have the power to do that there.
These tapes could possibly be forged. It was my first thought as well. However, I keep an open mind about it. It's also just as possible that they were not forged.
Miracles happen all the time. Mostly they are small every day miracles that escape our attention because we are looking for the extraordinary when we think of miracles. For that reason it is a good thing to always question and be skeptical of what others may tout as a miracles of the extraordinary variety. Even the Church does that. However, I have had some extraordinary miracles in my own life so I do believe that miracles happen of both the every day type and the extraordinary.
We have to tune in our frequencies to the supernatural and spiritual level. Doing so we can actually hone in on the constant dialog that goes on between God and humankind and I think, at times we might even hear the angels singing praise to God.
Having said that, I still question the existance of angels. They may exist in the supernatural realm, and they may not. The belief in angels is not required to enter the eternal state of heaven after death. But I do believe in the human angel type. Those people that God just seems to send into our lives at a time when we really need them and their help. I have never seen a supernatural angel but I have seen many of the human variety of angels in my life.
Even if the tapes presented at this site are not real but are forgeries instead, the singing and music was very peaceful and spiritually uplifting so I take it for what it is and keep an open mind about it.
I am a professed Christian and it puzzles me how people who believe in astrology - that planets can affect their personalities, their moods and the events that happen in their lives - people who believe in elves, fairies, channeling, ghosts etc. find it so difficult to believe in anything else of the supernatural realm if it is attached to any organized religion.
I am convinced that human nature being as it is, should God one day speak out of the heavens in a booming voice and say, " I exist, I AM," that over half of the population of the world would find some way to explain it away. Which is probably why God gave us free will to choose what we believe in and what we don't. And having that God given right to choose our beliefs which God highly respects, should make us want to respect each others belief systems without saying that we are right while these fools have it all wrong. No?
