T O P I C R E V I E WEverEvolvingSpiritSo I know ZERO about politics, but this one is sooooo fun to me! Choose your favorite, writer, musician, actor or sports figure (the person must be well-known) and explain why youd elect them as the next president.Isnt that cool?So I'm leaning towards John Lennon, not sure yet, but he seems like the best choice so far, other choices were Wayne Dyer, Dr Phil (lol)Whoopie Goldberg (for no good reason I just love her vibe) and Randall .Who would you choose and why? If you don't feel like typing just put who you'd choose and I can try to come to my own conclusions as of why I encourage all LL members to apply. Have a lovely and blessed Sunday LEXXChristopher Walken quote:WALKEN IN 2008"Our great country is in a terrible downward spiral. We're outsourcing jobs, bankrupting social security, and losing lives at war. We need to focus on what's important-- paying attention to our children, our citizens, our future. We need to think about improving our failing educational system, making better use of our resources, and helping to promote a stable, safe, and tolerant global society. It's time to be smart about our politics. It's time to get America back on track."Campaign Finance Reform: "I believe that campaign finance is a very tough issue, with good points on both sides; but I feel, as a wealthy American, that I should have no more say than even the least fortunate American citizen. Free speech in politics is about the voices of all those who support you, not who supports you with the biggest voice." Stem Cell Research: "I'd met Chris Reeve several times before he died, and after having met him it is tough to be against [stem cell research]. I am for human knowledge and expansion of human life. If stem cells are one way to do that, I cannot support legislation to restrict this potentially life-saving research." ~Christopher WalkenEverEvolvingSpiritWow. I love him, man! I'm not very well versed with politics How are you feeling today, red velvet? EverEvolvingSpiritI emailed my instructor to make sure there won't be a penalty. There was no mention of the person having to be American, but since that is the general rule in presidency I had to ask. I'm sure it will be fine Thanks for pointing that out, you lil sharpie I may start sending you my assignments to look over
