T | Got some good ones in there Carl...right around where I'm from! |
T | Can't find Magic Hat Fat Angel anywhere though..... |
Ami Anne | Not to be dumb, but what are they ,Carl ? I never heard of micro brew but I love beer--really strong beer, the strongest like Guiness Extra Stout ------------------ Life is lived in the sand box. He who controls his Spirit is greater than he who controls a city Proverbs |
charmainec | Are those names of beers? |
T | Yep. Good ones too. |
MoonWitch | We make our own! That's uber micro. |
MoonWitch | Right now, we have a keg of Drake's IPA in the house. Is that considered a microbrew? Most of the beers we drink aren't any of the 'big name' brewers. |
juniperb | There is a new micro brewer here in the County. I tried some and it wasn`t pleasing at all. I`m assuming one has to aquire a taste for it? ------------------ ~The Earth Laughs In Flowers~ ... Emerson |
MoonWitch | All microbrews will be different, juni. It depends on what kind of lager/ale they are making. The differences between micros can be night and day. They can be anywhere from a light amber color to a dark coffee color and can have flavors ranging from mild and fruity to strong and bitter. |
juniperb | Ah! This was dark, strong and bitter to me. They have free sample day comming up so I may give it another try. Thanks. ------------------ ~The Earth Laughs In Flowers~ ... Emerson |
MoonWitch | Try a light colored one! Ask for a wheat beer, Hefeweizen, or one that features fruit. Some of them come as apricot, blueberry or orange and those are usually light, mild, fruity and refreshing.
|
T | MoonWitch cool! I've never done that. We had a place in my home city where you could go in and brew your own. Put your own labels on the bottles & everything. I'm a pale ale kind of gal, for the most part. Juni, you might be able to handle them too. |
