juniperb | Electric that is A nasty spring storm dumped 9 ins of snow when late morning, snow laden trees took the power lines down. It wil be shut off again to complete repairs but I am so tickled to peek in and see the banners working and *poof* glitchs gone A happy day!! Except for the shivering bluebird sitting on top of the back yard feeders... * ------------------ ~The Earth Laughs In Flowers~ ... Emerson

Quinnie | Oh My Goodness! How do you cope without electricity Juni? Campfires and candlelight? mmmmmmm |
juniperb | Kinda like that Quinnie but the real key is: Know where the black dogs are, at all times ------------------ ~The Earth Laughs In Flowers~ ... Emerson |
AbsintheDragonfly | It's good you've got some electricity again! |
abcd efg | The title of the thread, followed by the 'Electric' disclosure had me burst with laughter. Good One. By the way, is the blue bird pirched up there in the pic. I somehow couldn't spot it. Happy warm days!! Here it is so hot and humid. I could as well sit in that snow. |
juniperb | abc, he is on the left perched about 1/2 inch (in pic size) the tube type feeder. He is siloutted against the snow. ------------------ ~The Earth Laughs In Flowers~ ... Emerson |
abcd efg | OK. I think i got it. I have this fascination for blue coloured ones. We are in the city with not much variety of colourful birds. But once many years back a lovely blue colour bird sat on our fan. Got scared of the crackers during Diwali and came in the house. So beautiful it looked!! After some hours when it collected enough confidence to go back it flew away. It took my heart away. |
juniperb | I love birds too and have many feeders scattered about. The blue birds I invite by providing nests ( they nest in a little house)and are seasonal. They arrive in spring and leave after they raise 2-3 families. We also have a migrational "blue" bird called an Indigo Bunting . A shy one at the evening feeders, but just stunning. I will find a picture for you ------------------ ~The Earth Laughs In Flowers~ ... Emerson |
