SilverStone | Moderators: When closing threads, please write a notation on the last post stating that it's being moved or for other pertinent reason to avoid confusion. When moved maybe is even good to delete the one's moved. |
MoonWitch | I think if a thread is moved it says at the top of the thread where it was moved. Though, I agree it's nice to have it stated at the end of a thread out of convenience. |
Randall | Doing a last post is a good idea, since Newflakes may not know to look at the top left for where it was moved to. But deleting is a bad idea, because they will just see it gone and not know where it went to. |
MoonWitch | Ditto on the not deleting, Randall. |
SilverStone | Ditto, Randall! |

sand | why do you even close threads? some seem still good to me like more input could be added but they're already closed. |
charmainec | Some are closed because they were moved. Others were closed due to arguments on a string. Threads are also closed when the original poster requests it. |
Randall | Most of the closed ones were moved to a different Forum. |
sand | ah iz cool! i see now.

Correct, the reasons for threads being closed I am aware of, as I moderated here for a few years now. Since there seems to be a higher demand to close threads due to new forums opening, etc, I was stating that it would be nice to write a notation for the reason it was closed and/or moved.
