T O P I C R E V I E WC1ND3RI'm hoping that this is a generational thing because if this were another thing i'd have to work on on my own, well, then that'd just be GREAT!!! :/People bore the F out of me.I find you guys more iteresting than any potential person i might meet while out somewhere; it's routine... I attend an art exhibit, meet a boat load of people, socialize, exchange facebooks, commit to getting together in the near future and then nothing else.I can't count how many people i meet. I seriously stopped remembering names and all i can remember are faces and zodiac signs. I can remember charts but ask me to repeat your name back to you and it'll never happen.U try being out in public before something is brought up that requires you to bring out your iphone to show them something on youtube?I glaze over if a conversation is longer than a minute.I meet all these people and at the end of the day, nothing changes. I see it all as a waste of time & it kinda concerns me. Even if while at work, i'm assuming i'd have an aura of attitude that just spells out: "CAN'T BE BOTHERED".Please, someone, tell me that this is a millenial thing.Because my online interests are much more stimulating to me now unless the person is decked out in jewelry and some eccentric outfit to keep my attention. This CANNOT be reality.doommlordwell sometimes the internet open up a better and richer dimension of communicating with others....which might make the usually somewhat shallow communication we have with people in our day to day life seem staleor maybe its the fact you meet such large amount of people you socialise with you end up connecting on a very shallow level that doesent suit your needsthats my opinion at leastand either are a growing problem in our society so trust me you are definetly not the only oneNativelyJoanIt very well could be the fact that you're a member within the Millennial generation or it could just be your personality. Or it could be both, it's tricky to pinpoint, however instead of spending time trying to understand where it developments, why not put that hyperactivity to use. I wouldn't waste it on the internet unless you're planning on starting some type of blog or very engaging website in which you can connect with others for a common purpose, for example starting a national cyber community for environmental sustainability. Not only would that be engaging, and allow you to interact with various types of individuals who share your interests, but it would be fulfilling because you're not expending your energy on pointless activities, you're actually working towards making a difference. This can actually also be moved towards something physically engaging, such as starting a chapter in your local community for a non profit or grassroots movement, or whatever your interests. Find a way of connecting your online interests with real world interests, thus you bridge the connection between the physical and cyber, and put all that excess energy to connect and engage constantly with others to use. The Millennials are a new age digitized generation, they are meant to change the world.Everything you're venting about could very well just be psychological and it could be that you're dissatisfied with your life at the moment and are feeling unfulfilled. I'm a doer and when I have excess energy it means I'm not being fulfilled in my life, so I do more to engage in something fulfilling. I've got to keep myself mentally stimulated by engaging in activities that are invigorating and fulfilling and that hopefully make a difference in the lives of others.Maybe it's time to make a change in your own life.C1ND3R^ maybe, indeed!I wanna move into a better and bigger place with higher ceiling.I wanna get membership at one particular oceanfront gym.I wanna make about 1,000x more money.I wanna get in serious shape and find top management to help me in my career..I got new shoes today.... Maybe that'll start me off on the right foot.sand quote:Originally posted by NativelyJoan:It very well could be the fact that you're a member within the Millennial generation or it could just be your personality.
