T O P I C R E V I E WtreebellaHey I was wondering if anyone could a synastry reading for him and me. It would be much appreciated. I know his mars conjunct my moon and my mars conjunct his moon, what does that indicate? especially with my mars conjunct his venus. I also know his eros is conjunct my ascendant, does that indicate anything? it's hard to find readings on eros and psyche. Thank you treebella treebellabumpnanduMoon conjunct MarsThis is a difficult comparative aspect because the aggressiveness of Mars upsets and irritates the Moon, the Moon person's moodiness and sensitivity makes the Mars person impatient. In two really strong charts this aspect can produce constructive action in business, family and domestic affairs. It may produce a good deal of sexual attraction, but with no guarantee of compatibility. Mars is too apt to try to change the partner. This connection works best in circumstances when the Mars person is the Male and the Moon person is the female. However, in all cases this is a difficult combination for marriage, family relationships, or for people who live together, since it is likely to produce domestic disagreements. The asteroid Eros also plays a role in sexual attraction. Most potent are Eros-Venus, Eros-Ascendant, Eros-Psyche, and Eros-Mars links. Conjunctions, oppositions, and trines are often seen as best. treebellaThank You Nandu. My boyfriend and I seems to get along heavenly even though I hear so many bad stories about mar - moon conjunction...is it always the case? Unless we both are aware on working to compromise. What about his venus conjunct to my mars in scorpio. Our moons especially with his moon conjunct my mars in scorpio and his mars in leo conjunct my moon in leo. Is it all just a sexual attraction?treebellaI just want to know if we're soulmatesyuting quote:Originally posted by treebella:Thank You Nandu. How the aspects will exhibit also depends on the natal charts of the 2 persons. Eg, if the native has a supported and integrated Mars in the natal, it is likely the native's Mars conj another person will be much more positive than if the native has an afflicted Mars. ie if you have a supported Mars in natal and he has an afflicted mars in natal, his moon will feel a lot less aggression than your moon, and vice versaI believe in synastry we need to read it in relation with the 2 natives' natals to see how it will pan out. Eg, a challenging synastry would be tough on natives who have natal charts prefering calm & softness, while a smooth synastry might bore natives who like a bit more challenges (just like some like to lounge at home, while others like racing across the sahara)yuting quote:Originally posted by treebella:What about his venus conjunct to my mars in scorpio.Looks like a pretty wide orb to me. How many degrees apart are they?I suggest you use "web default style" and use 65-70% orb so as to give a cleaner chart with actual degrees shown and to screen out the wide orbs.Normally venus/mars conj is intense attraction (mostly sexual & romantic love). While sun/moon conj is attraction at a more basic personality & emotional levelI like the metaphor: Ven/Mars is the dating couple still seeking romance & excitement, Sun/Mn is the married old couple treasuring the companionship
