Fuzzy | Hello everyone Would you please help me interpret this composite? It is a composite of a father and a daughter. It's difficult for me to figure out how house positions, aspects etc work in familial composites.Thank you ------------------ *18th Degree of Libra: Two men are placed under arrest and taken away to give an accounting for their acts before a tribunal of society. |
Fuzzy | hopeful bump. |
anongrl10 | is this father in this daughter's life consistently? |
Fuzzy | No, actually, she hasn't seen him for at least 10 years I think. |
anongrl10 | Figures! Sat in the 4th... |
anongrl10 | Also Moon in the composite 1st (in a tight sq with Sat in the 4th)... erratic emotional situation... ups and downs... |
anongrl10 | Is inheritance possible? Venus in the 8th. With Sun in the 7th, and Mars in the 6th, are they joined in some sort of family business together? |
Fuzzy | Does Saturn in the 4th always mean people never see each other? Or just that they're somehow distant? And inheritance would be a funny turn of events because he couldn't see his daughter in the first place because he couldn't afford paying child support. He always struggled financially (Saturn in Taurus in H2). They don't work together and they barely communicate at all. She was wondering if they would ever have a closer relationship... does the 4H Saturn mean it won't happen? By the way, the mother is very opposed to them communicating and pretty much cuts off any contact, too. |

Saturn is the father figure and Saturn symbolizes deprivation of some sort. When in the house of home, roots, family (4th house), it simply indicates the absence of a father figure either physically or emotionally. It does not mean they will never reunite. Free will tramps any charts. But the composite shows erratic emotional rapport as well (the Moon-Saturn square). This means that even if they get together things won't get resolved as by magic. Which makes sense if you think of the situation. Some people don't know how to be parents (let alone good parents) for many reasons including due to their own deprived childhoods. Mars in Cancer shows that there is at least a family bond between them. They both want to act like family. Sun is also in Cancer. There is an emphasis in nurturing and family life. There is potential in the chart obviously but how it turns out in the life of the people involved is up to both of them. Venus in the 8th could also indicate the alimony and other money "of other people" that bind the father and the daughter. Is there some kind of state support for the father? |
Fuzzy | anongrl10, thank you so much! Your explanation really helped clear things up for me and get the hang of how to look at these composites...

I feel like other people's money issues only drive them apart, such as mother's stance for financial independence (after her marriage to this man). She doesn't want anything to do with him, that's why she never pressed for alimony even though he stopped paying it but was legally supposed to. As for state support, I don't even know, but most likely he receives some, he is never financially successful... |
anongrl10 | Fuzzy, I'm glad to hear that I helped a bit. Thanks for the feedback! |
