T O P I C R E V I E WcuriouswomanHow would you describe him or her?dadeviI would describe the person as greedy, to be blunt. It could also mean the person hoards resources for a rainy day, and has an obtuse head and heart.Haplesschild*Someone closed up and clutching tightly to something (could be the past, ideas etc) hannaramaaI agree with Haplesschild, and although 4 of Pentacles can be greedy it isn't an attribute that describes the whole entire card. The 4 of Pentacles can indicate a person with a good head on their shoulders, but someone who is stubborn as well. They are probably not fans of change, they can be possessive but they are also good at keeping stock of what's in their life. Nobody can say a 4 of Pentacles person (when the 4 of Pentacles is upright in a reading) is unstable. They are mature but stuck in their ways.ShyVirgo1979Hmm my take on this is a person who is perhaps blocking feeling any emotions in favor of material ambition. MetalAphroditeMaybe a person holding onto something, whether due to material greediness or afraid to let go of the "tried and true".I've come up as four of pentacles before, when I was emotionally afraid of losing certain people in my life. I believe the four of pentacles at that time represented fears that I was holding too tightly to. Hoarding is a sign of ignoring other issues or having an external way of dealing with a severely internalized feeling. Clarification cards, with the four of pentacles as the significator, would lead you in the direction of what this person is trying to hold on to. Just a thought.
