Hey Andstuff, Sorry this took longer than I said. I got roped into going to LA. HOWEVER! I did do a Celtic Cross using the question "What positive things are going to happen for the Andstuff's career in the next 3 months." I did try and emphasize the "big break" sort of ideal.
Situation: The Fool
Conflicting/complimenting factor: 9 of Cups
Root cause: Knight of Wands
Relevant past: Moon (r)
How you feel about situation: 9 of Swords
Immediate present: 5 of Wands
How you feel about yourself: Magician (r)
The environment: Tower (r)
The advice: 6 of Swords
Future outcome: The Star (clarifying card 4 of Cups)
The first three cards tell me that you really decided to chase your dream, and that you have the fire, determination, and tenacity to keep marching towards it. The 9 is a pretty powerful indicator, to me, that this dream has maybe even started to stand in for aspects of your self-worth. (I've always seen it as a serious wish card -- like the end of Raiders of the Lost Ark, where they have to choose the cup. It was the end of a huge journey for that Nazi chap, and even though this is a HORRIBLE analogy, because he dies... the idea has always been the same.) This is extremely near and dear to you, and I applaud you for getting the work done to make it as far as you have.
Did you quit your job to do this? Or overhaul your life in a way that was really uncomfortable for you? The Moon reversed in the past there was a real push against chasing this career as an artist. A fear of the unknown, of losing control. This also shows up in how you feel about the situation: 9 of Swords. Keeping yourself up at night, panicking. I think you're really concerned you've made the wrong decision, which is probably the force fueling the 5 of Wands: lots of energy, lots of flailing. You're trying even harder to prove to yourself that you did the right thing. Also, coupled with this being a dream that's so fundamentally important to you... seems like you are really pushing yourself to succeed. In some ways, pardon me for being blunt, but unhealthily.
The Magician reversed is why I say that-- you feel stunted, both creatively and mentally. You can't do anything right, you're a failure, etc., etc. Gotta knock those thoughts off, because they are only hurting you and your chances, rather than you pumping positivity and logging small victories. The Tower reversed said change is coming yet again; don't fight the Universe. While we tend to feel in the driver's seat... yeah, we're not. The Universe is in the process of shaking your life up for the big, and while the Tower is a frightening card, it's important to focus on the positives of change. (All these majors about change and chasing your fears make me think this is the big karmic lesson you are supposed to learn.)
The 6 of Swords as advice says let go of previous fears, previous expectations, and just ride this out. Just have fun. Benchmark small victories instead of the big one. If you finish a piece, dude... that's awesome. Most people don't even make it that far. Be proud of who you are and where you've come from, but let a lot of it fall behind. New things are coming. The cards won't say what, but this is CLEARLY offered by the Star (trust yourself, trust the Universe, and be receptive) with the clarifier of the 4 of Cups. An offer's coming around the bend. My gut is saying some sort of teaching position... or where you show people how to do something, but I don't know. That's me just being ridiculous. I will say that I feel with 100% certainty, the aspects of living with the unknown and dealing with desire is the lesson here. When you've got that down, when you just accept that it'll happen when it happens... it'll happen
Hope this helps and hope I wasn't too, too wrong. <3
