T O P I C R E V I E WEnigma9if someone asked does A miss B and they get fool, 2 of wands, and magician...how would you interpret it? thank you DiplopodaThey have an open mind, desire to see the bigger picture and know that B can create anything they want. There's no missing here. More like que sera serabeccathelionFor me this, this reads as a no. They've started on a new life journey and are planning for the future. The two major cards tell me this is an important step in their overall karmic growth (majors show up when we have big lessons to learn.) The Magician is about power, often through self-empowerment and using what skills and abilities one already has. This reads very much like this person has moved on and is rediscovering themselves. Realigning their priorities with more of what they feel drawn to do and to be. My guess is, because of the wand next to the Fool, there is a real sense of excitement and freedom they haven't felt in awhile. Sorry Enigma9O no nothing to feel sorry about this reading is not for me. I was randomly placing cards next to each other so I learn to read them. I have a loooooong way to go loool. So this interpretation would also apply if someone asked a's feelings towards B and got those card? Or a's views towards b?Enigma9Do cards always answer the question? Or can they give a completely different reading regarding what is currently going on with the person in question. Thank you, sorry for too many questions beccathelion quote:Originally posted by Enigma9:O no nothing to feel sorry about this reading is not for me. Or a's views towards b?I think it's great that you are teaching yourself! I did too. My recommendation is to do a daily 1 card draw for yourself religiously. Use it as a "what should today's theme be?" or "what should I try to exemplify today." I love this website for learning definitions: http://www.crystal-reflections.com/tarot5/tarot5.htm Her combination of the esoteric meaning, the practical, and her keyword list is really great. You get a lot of bang for your buck, and at the bottom, she has a quick reference guided for what the card COULD mean in the Celtic cross position, and what questions you should ask yourself when you pull the card. It isn't a catch-all, but it's a awesome tool that helped me when I was learning. So yeah, I would definitely say do daily draws and start doing 3 card pulls for your week. Today's Monday -- so pull 3 in reference to what you can expect and how best you can navigate it. Keep a journal. I'm actually learning another cartomancy deck right now, and I'm having to do the same thing. Lol, it feels impossible, but you'll get it. I promise. Yes, the word "miss" could be exchanged with feelings/views -- but be specific as possible when asking a question. Wording plays a big role in what you're given. And to answer your other question, no. Sometimes a non-answer is your answer. This is generally because the Universe doesn't think it's appropriate for you to know just yet; the time isn't right. As far as picking up on a different topic than was asked... The cards will always tell you EXACTLY what you need to know. It may not be what you want to hear, but it'll be what you need. So if something seems totally out of context, meditate on it, and let your intuition help tie the meanings back into the original question. Pay attention to suits and their numbers, the frequency of those things, where the cards are looking, what's on them -- all that will help in that case. If you want, I can give you my email and if you have any question you can hit me up. I'm not a pro by any means, but I've been reading awhile and have been lucky enough to have more hits than misses under my belt.Enigma9fantastic advice, thank you so much yes what is your email? quote:Originally posted by beccathelion: I think it's great that you are teaching yourself! A has enough stuff on her/his mind that keep him/her entertained in such a way that A thinks mostly about starting lots of other new and exciting things than B as a person to be missed dearly. A might show interest to B but not more than she/he shows to whatever projects A's inolved with at this moment. Thanks for sharing. beccathelionit's great. glad i could help the placements at the end sometimes (more often than not) are a little to vague and funky, and they're definitely not specific to individual spreads, but it's a good place to check if you get turned around or are unsure of what a card in a spot means. Astro keenHi Becca,The site you've posted above is quite something. Of course we are lead to what we need when the time is right. I did a 3 card spread for myself and used that site to read the meaning for card 3 - The Star. It seemed very insightful and wise - just what I needed to hear.
