T O P I C R E V I E WCG9Hello!There is a guy I like and I would like to date him. Can someone help me read the synastry and composite chart so I can know if its worth the risk?PS: I don’t know his time of birth so I used 12 pm.Thank you!SYNASTRY COMPOSITE filleaspirantI don't read synastry or composite charts, but I'm pretty sure the ones who do will ask you to post charts from Astro.com ... Thought I should tell you and speed up the time it's gonna take for someone to reply and give you a proper reading. CG9thanks AriesLilithHi, I was just checking your charts when your thread at Astrology 2.0 section was closed lol.So let's see... these charts are a bit "ugly", I'd prefer the astro.com ones but they are still readable. Synastry:I'm not sure if your chart is the inner one or outer one, but I'll assume that yours is the inner one.His Mars is on your Venus, and your Neptune/Uranus is square his Mars. You might find him attractive and idealize him, finding him exciting. He might find you cute and feel affectionate towards you, and idealize how you are, as his Venus is square your Sun and his Neptune is oppose your Sun, thought you might not be what he initially expected and he might have over idealized you, which might lead to possible disappointment if that happens. Your Saturn is opposed to his Venus and square to his Neptune, and it also squares your own Sun although widely, so it might show that you can be critical and disapprove his over idealistic way in love/romance, which can be a cold water towards his affectionate side. Also, his Saturn is on your Mercury, showing that he can be restrictive over the way you think or talk.Composite:Since you only know your own time of birth, the position of Moon can vary up to 3ºdegrees more or 3ºdegrees less. Also, we won't be able to interpret house positions, which is pretty significant as it can show where the relationship is focused. You have 2 kites that have elements in common, involving Moon, Saturn, Neptune, Pluto and Venus. Also, Venus is on the mipdoint of Mars/Sun and Mars/Mercury. There is romantic attraction between you two, and you are sensitive and caring towards each other. Together you can have a deeper, more soulful bond, that can grow stable and solid, if nothing else in the chart shows otherwise (without house placements can be complicated).AriesLilithJust an extra note, since you are new here so you might not be too familiar with astrology. Synastry shows compatibility between two people, how you can perceive each other, while composite shows how the relationship itself can develop and become.CG9Well i had some posting problems at the beginning .I think you are right about the over idealizing thing, because he is kinda too shy around me.The attraction is there and it was there from the beginning, but he never initiates anything just stares all the time and grins. Will the possible disappointment be a deal-breaker?Will it affect his feelings towards me? The whole synastry aspects don't sound too good...actually not at all and i can't rely on the composite chart because of the unknown birth time......eh..he is actually way too old for me,but i felt something and that's why i was so interested in both charts..so i can know if it's worth to try it.So generaly, would you recommend with all these aspects to initiate something and try to date?Or it's a big possibility that it won't work out?thanks for the interpretation and i'm sorry for the "ugly" charts AriesLilithI don't think that this aspect with your Sun/Saturn and his Venus/Neptune is really a deal breaker, if there is really over idealizations and conflicts caused from them, putting effort on trying to understand each other better can help overcome this issue. Personally, my husband's Venus is square my Neptune and oppose my Sun, and there are also some idealization and disappointment caused by it, but putting efforts for mutual understanding helped things. As for the composite, while it might not be 100% reliable, those good aspects are still there. If you really like each other, then I'd say go for it, don't rely on astrology, listen to what your intuition has to say. CG9well..then i will try to mantain contact and see where it goes.Anyway no relationship is perfect and it needs work...i have one more question about the chinese zodiac signs? do they tell a lot about the compatibility or is it too general?AriesLilith quote:Originally posted by CG9:well..then i will try to mantain contact and see where it goes.Anyway no relationship is perfect and it needs work...i have one more question about the chinese zodiac signs? do they tell a lot about the compatibility or is it too general?I actually have Eastern Asian origins, but I don't know too much about Chinese astrology. I'd say that the 12 signs, which are based on the lunar calendar year of your birthday, can give some insights on compatibility, but it's still too general. Actually your day and month have a sign too, and by each sign, an element (wood, metal, fire, water, earth) associated. And then birth time is also relevant. You'd need a deeper analysis to check for compatibility. But your composite seems pretty nice, with all the elements for attraction, stability and sensitivity in harmony. Maybe there are less obvious aspects that might have escaped from the analysis, but overall it seems nice.CG9Yes,i know i see it better now. As i said before the only thing that got me worried was the over idealisation resulting in disappointment issue.I see this as : he puts me on pedastal and after he sees i am not perfect or not who he expected me to be the attraction and his interest in dating me will fade and it will go nowhere. But the rest seems pretty nice .
