T O P I C R E V I E WMinceyMouseI had take a cue from Loaded Pistil's honey jar, and tried to do my own, but with a few tweaks. Prior to that I had made a white candle and mixed it with olive oil, cloves, turmeric, lime juice and bay leaves- something really strange happened whenever I lit it. People would communicate with me- like call me/email me out of the blue. Another funny thing is that the moment I would light the candle, I would get a call on FaceTime by the same person.. ALL THE TIME. Now, thinking that there was something to candle burning, I decided to do a hybrid honey pot which LP had done on this thread: http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum11/HTML/014065.html I got a glass jar, filled it with spices I could find, and spices which I was attracted to (cinnamon, white cinnamon, bay leaves, cloves, staranise, turmeric) and filled it to the brim with honey. While doing it, I had the intention of making 2015 a smoother, and sweeter year than 2013-2014. Along with that, on the outside of the jar, I put a label and wrote which universities I really, really wanted to go to. After closing the jar, and labelling it with relevant names, I burnt a huge yellow candle on top- throughout the night, I wasn't able to sleep. A few days after, I burnt a red candle. This should give you an idea of what colour candle to use: http://www.psychic-revelation.com/reference/a_d/candles/candle_colors_uses.html During the time I was doing this, I kept seeing a purple orchid flower, and I didn't know where to get it without spending a bomb. Just yesterday I found it in the apartment lobby, and I stole the flower, and put it on top of the honey jar. After the flower, I got my first admission of the season in 3 hours. Now: Starting a new job- got an admission into a university (well, not my top choice, but I am still waiting for the main ones)- and just feel happier because of fewer setbacks! This is very easy to do, so if you want to get something done, you can try this. It's not meant to be a malicious spell, just something to make life easier. Astro keenMincey this is very interesting! So, can you use your Jar again for different candles? It seemed as if the jar filling exercise is important for each spell or manifestation task. Also, would the Jar differ if you were trying to manifest greater mental clarity, for example?MinceyMouseBefore I started the jar, I had bought 2 candles- yellow and red because I 'saw' those colours when I was in a meditation-type thing (just about to fall asleep, but still lucid). They also were also the only candles I could afford! I used 2 candles on the one jar, but I don't intend to use more than 2 as it wasn't my intent to do it. At the end of the day, do what feels right for you.The spices can vary depending on what you want- mental clarity also is possible- http://witchiegirl.tripod.com/herbal_lore.htm there are other websites also. It's just something physical to help manifest what you want/need in life. florenceBay leaves are powerful. When burnt they are supposed to take messages up to Angels. i got this from a book which has very old spells sourced in itSabineVery interesting. I may have to try it out.Astro keenMincey,This brainwave of yours with the honey jar obviously worked. I wonder if you could use your intuition to try and suggest some ideas for specific people. Could this be done in combination with tarot, I wonder. What do you think? For example, I have read that yellow candles should be used for academic or mental endeavours. But haven't found any similar advice for herbs/spices. Writing affirmations on paper which should be burnt seems to be recommended quite often. As there are many alternatives on how to cast spells, one can't be certain of the best or most appropriate procedure. I wouldn't have a clue! So, if someone could advice intuitively or with the help of tarot that would be quite something.MinceyMouseThere is a link to what colour candles to use depending on the situation in the original post. The colour I saw in my state correlated to what I wanted when I checked the link. My go to tarot deck does not have too many colours such as gold/yellow and it's kind of in the black-grey-brown-white spectrum. I think the link is sufficient, tbh. For example, if you want to spiritually open up more, purple would be the colour. I think the link is really useful, especially if you can't find certain colours and are trying to find substitutes. peacefulcloudsI like spells that doesn't influence anyone, sounds like a good one! Too bad I'm too lazy for a person @_@MinceyMouseYou can go to alfamart and get all the stuff. I got mine from Grand Lucky..It's easy and it's worth it, imo. I don't believe in changing other people, though. As I mentioned, this is a physical manifestation. Rather than using the law of attraction in meditation, I find it better if I see it being done in front of me. MinceyMouseFriggin' hell. Got a bit of a job offer at 1am when out with my boss and colleagues. I'm an intern at the place.. and I've been there about a grand total of 4 days so far. On a different note, I got rejected by one uni today (the place didn't have courses I wanted nor was it inviting for me). There is something to the candles. St@r2013Congrats on the job offer! I need to check the spell out cause I'm really tired of my job and need to find something else.
