Saille | IDK if anyone else has had this issue here. If you are asking for a reading, and people are kind enough to do it, please kindly return the favor or give us a time you think you can get back to it. It's not fair for those taking the time to do, and not getting a response. And super flaky and disrespectful. |
cherful24 | I feel like every 6 months someone posts about this issue. We're not getting paid because we're learning. It's rude of people to take advantage of that. 😒 |
Saille | so mad! |
mooninaries94 | Sorry for intruding your post, Saille. @Cherful, I read for you days ago, don't know if you saw, anyway, here is : http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum11/HTML/020488.html |
Enneline | yes, i have the same problem it's really outrageous and frustrating! Not enough they would ignore you, but they would keep on doing/requesting other readings. Beyond outrageous! |
Ceridwen | Enneline, I didnīt do this to you, did I? |
Enneline | quote: Originally posted by Ceridwen: Enneline, I didnīt do this to you, did I?
haha, no why are you so shocked? Was there any reading you owe that i have forgotten? |
Enneline | ah, but Ceri. I still need your pic for the aura reading |
Springtimeflower | Hi Saille, Maybe when you start an exchange thread, ask them to do your reading first and then you do theirs. Hope this helps, Spring |
SereneDaze | Unfortunately there are members here who are dishonest and take advantage of others. They run off after receiving a reading and when you confront them, I've seen two scenarios happening. They just ignore it and a few days later they start another exchange thread like the previous exchange never happened. Another one is when they would make up some excuse and try to make you look bad, there was this girl I exchanged with here that got mad when I asked her about my reading, claiming I was being insensitive and that her father just passed. That turned out to be a lie, in another part of the forum her posts showed that her father had passed years ago. |

i would agree with you This board of course does not belong to me, but i shall be grateful if Randall could set up some rules or something |
Randall | If people agree to an exchange, that's a contract. From here on out, if it's not honored, that person will be banned. So, don't agree to an exchange unless you plan to keep your word. |
Ceridwen | quote: Originally posted by Enneline: ah, but Ceri. I still need your pic for the aura reading
oops, I forgot. shall I post it in the aura thread, wherever it is?

this is very unfortunate and unbelievably rude towards the reader - however it`s a sad fact that there ARE rude and/ or dishonest and selfish people.
The thing I am doing is, scratch them off my list for exchanges/ next readings. I feel it`s the only reasonable thing I can do. If they take advantage of me once, okay, I can`t do anything about it. But they are not going to get the chance to do it another time. And there ARE very honest people on here, too, who are thankful and polite. I tend to focus on jsut a few, and that is the reason why. |

you may send it along with your q- or post it. it's up to you. So far everyone preferred the first
|
Ceridwen | Oh I posted my pictures, was faster, and well I can take them down again after you did your magic. (I guess I donīt feel like hiding anylonger Must be the pr Leo Moon. I am looking quite serious though. Well taking pictures of myself is always difficult. lol) I donīt really have a question I guess. Sort of would like to know what grabs YOUR attention. Or is that TOO general?
|
Randall | Thanks, Ceri. I try to be fair to all. |
Randall | Maybe this rule will stop the problem. |
SereneDaze | @Ceridwen Yes, most of the members here do honor their exchanges and its only a few who don't. @Randall Thank you for implementing the new rule. |
Saille | quote: Originally posted by Springtimeflower: Hi Saille,Maybe when you start an exchange thread, ask them to do your reading first and then you do theirs. Hope this helps, Spring
I thought that to be in this forum you had to agree to that rule, so I am under assumption we all knew tat...I do't want to have to babysit anyone and neither should the Admins trying to make sure we follow the rules. we all know that.

LeeLoo2014 | I salute Randall's decision, Ceri's, Enneline and everyone else's comments. I'd like to add, and I know I've said it before: I don't see a reason for opening an exchange thread unless cards in hand (or whatever method) ready to read for the sitters. This is common sense, at least to me. Unless there is a specification in the OP "I will honor my exchange tomorrow or when I feel better etc." as many do specify, there is hardly any excuse to answering late, sitters assume an exchange request comes from someone with time and energy on their hands to do the reading now. ------------------ I seem to have loved you in numberless forms... Randall | If you can't complete the exchange quickly, let it be known beforehand. |
