T O P I C R E V I E WAmi AnneI have stevia plants. Stevia has to be crushed to get the sweetness out. I grind it in the coffee grinder with coffee beans and it makes like a turkish coffee.Today, I am going to see if I can grind it and use it alone or it will be too grainy and leafy.I will let you know------------------Passion, Lust, Desire. Check out my journal http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/RandallDid it work?FaithI used to make a tea out of the dried herbs, I kept it in the fridge and added it to drinks. I wonder if boiling the tea down would yield a concentrate~ something like the small bottles of stevia they have at health stores. Ami AnneToday, I wanted to get serious because I got soy creamer for coffee, so thought I would try to make a fancy coffee Well, I used a lot of stevia leaves like 30. I ground them up with the coffee beans and it was super sweet as sweet as 1 Tablespoon og sugar. The problem with stevia is that it has to be ground. It won't release it's sweetness just by putting it in ice tea.I guess I have to see if you can grind it and then put it in a drink or there will be lots of particles which will be gross. It can be ground with coffee and brewed with loose tea.I will say that I am truly amazed by the stevia plant!------------------Passion, Lust, Desire.
