T O P I C R E V I E WLazyscarecrow somethingexcellentHey now, whoa, it's all right to have a sensitivity problem. It's okay to care. Did you tell your therapist everything? For real? If you think you have a problem that is going to lower your quality of life, then I'd support the choice to see a therapist about oversensitivity...Do you have a personality disorder or something more? Are you still battling depression? The first half sounded like something someone I knew with borderline personality disorder would say.Lazyscarecrow aquaguy91Maybe the problem is your family, could that be it? I have aspergers syndrome and i'm normally a very levelheaded calm type of guy but my immediate family has a way of bringing out the ultra sensitive angry part of me. I rarely have problems with anyone else but them, they just know how to push my buttons.LazyscarecrowMay not be far from truth. There was a thread in Astrology 2.0 about those with Capricorn NN in the natal chart having similar issues, where they have family karma and issues. Thanks for your input.Something else I realizeIs that I am the same way. If a random person crosses paths and does something mean or uncalled for, I just write it off and say "welp someone must have pizzed in their coffee" but if it's my family, it ruins my day and hurts my feelings.Ami Anne quote:Originally posted by Lazyscarecrow:May not be far from truth. But if it's any consolation, I've noticed A LOT of people have been more sensitive and hostile lately, both online and IRL. In the last week alone I've been yelled at about a half dozen times (including online) which is very unusual for me, and I've also noticed I'm a bit more sensitive as well (whether I'm enduring a bit of what others are or that's just a side effect of being bawled out so much, I can't say). And others have shared similar experiences (as you'd just did about your relative). So with that in mind I'm hoping things get back to normal soon...for all of us. somethingexcellent quote:Lazyscarecrow: ...but if it's my family, it ruins my day and hurts my feelings. The thing with family is they're supposed to love you and make you feel wanted, and you're around them almost every day, so them putting you down will affect you more than a random stranger, who you know owes you nothing...Hmm. Well madame, I always say everyone could use a little therapy. If it's causing you pain, it couldn't hurt to talk it out. And bring up the meds thing too! Tell them your fears, including apprehension towards medication and fear of having a disorder. It's all natural and it's all okay if you don't feel 100%.That's if you choose to seek out professional help and what not. Even talking about it here is good. Whatever you do, it's okay to admit you feel hurt and that you do care. Best of luck! LazyscarecrowI appreciate it mirage. (((hug))) and thank you PixieJane. Actually, I am trying to thick of it from an astrological pov, and wasn't there a Mars-Uranus conjunction in Aries? Maybe that was last month.Lazyscarecrow quote:Originally posted by somethingexcellent: The thing with family is they're supposed to love you and make you feel wanted, and you're around them almost every day, so them putting you down will affect you more than a random stranger, who you know owes you nothing...Hmm. Something else I realize
Is that I am the same way. If a random person crosses paths and does something mean or uncalled for, I just write it off and say "welp someone must have pizzed in their coffee" but if it's my family, it ruins my day and hurts my feelings.

Ermmm...
The only water planet in my natal chart is Pluto in Scorpio.
