T O P I C R E V I E WfiremoonMy ex from high school just told me... He may or may not be having a baby with some girl he's on/off dating (she hasn't made up her mind about keeping it?)I knew everyone our age is now having kids/getting married but it never felt real till now. Voix_de_la_MerHi Firemoon,is this upsetting you in some way?DopGangMy first thought was, "why is he telling you?" Unless you're friends...? An ex of mine called to tell me one day 8 months after breaking up and we were definitely not on friendly terms. We haven't talked since. I was polite I suppose but also a little bit, "It means nothing to me. It's not my baby." I didn't actually say that though. LOL I had that attitude a little bit. Certainly not, emotional I guess, as she was probably expecting. Voix_de_la_Mer quote:Originally posted by DopGang:My first thought was, "why is he telling you?" Unless you're friends...? I haven't talked to him about it since then and I honestly don't want to.. Turns out staying friends with your exes only makes things harder, who knew? lol.. Really though of course it makes me kind of sad that I don't have that right now. But I know I will some day and it'll be when the time is right, whenever that may be Electro DGXIt sounds sketchy as to why he would suddenly tell you this. For some reason I keep getting the feeling that he may have done this to upset you purposely. I don't know if being an Aquarius Sun myself with my Venus in Aqua helps with this, but I keep getting that vibe. I would suggest to stay on your toes. If you do happen to come across him again, it would be best to see what he says then and make a conclusion based off of that. If he's just going to talk to you about their baby, it sounds like bad news. ------------------Scorpio AscendantAquarius Sun in 4thGemini Moon in 8thCheck out my blog ya'll: www.electrodgxtalks.wordpress.comfiremoon^Thank you.. yes it was weird. We hadn't talked in over a year but I was actually the one to initiate contact, I texted him on the 4th of july just to say hi.. we started texting which turned into a phone conversation (that lasted for over an hour) which is when he told me. It was a little difficult to process at first but oh well life goes on! I genuinely cared about him and want him to be happy so I hope it all works out for them.. nordicsoulI believe for Aquarian is always easy to be "friends" and always keep things sort of "open" in a state of "flow". that upset less uranian folks, but I have seen that with Aquarius.if you were the one initiating the contact, then, he may have the curiosity (you now mercury is exalted in aquarius), but we need to always keep that in perspective. Aquarius curiosity is impersonal and the fact he shared that with you, he may share with other exes. the sense of specialness with aquarius is that everybody is interisting somehow...I would not try to read beyond a simple phone call that got him curious, but after some time on the phone he did not wanted to keep hopes high and told you about the baby. of course, I can read he is not sure about having or not the baby and i could think that a man in a relationship following text messaging and then phone conversation is somehow "interested", but his interest may have been simple curiosity...to be honest, I would not try to read too much into it. I would rather try to disregard the conversation and unless he takes any initiative to contact, I would keep things are they are. We always want to attribute meaning to things that sometimes have none. a man dating another near to have a baby receive a message from his ex. he becomes curios (maybe he is not that happy in the relationship, but that does not mean he is into his ex) and then they start texting and end up having a phone conversation. in the middle of that phone conversation he said his dating partner is pregnant... it sounds to me as a friend telling that to another friend... firemoonI'm over him in that way.. that's exactly what it is, a friend telling another friend. I have an Aqua Venus so I understand the energy well and his Cap Mercury is conjunct my Sun, enough said lol. Dont really know why you'd assume just because I'm (a girl) initiating contact it means I'm attributing imaginary meaning to something that has none.. He was my first serious long term relationship and had I stayed with him (it was my choice to leave) it probably would've turned into marriage and kids.. hence why it was a little weird to hear. However I'm not reading anything into it and see now more than ever everything probably does happen for a reason
