Sheaa Olein | Welcome nisha & congratulations on your superb gift! Just read it it'll weave into your emotions beautifully ------------------ "The past is history, the future is a mystery, & this moment is a gift.. that's why it's called 'the present'." Anon |
Randall | Take your time, so you won't miss anything. ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Rebecca Clark |
nisha | On the way to a miracle... |

maya-v | After waiting for more than six years for it to find me, I finally was graced by the presence of Gooberz. When I picked it up, I didnt expect more than Linda's wonderful wisdoma nd compassion to reachout to me. What blew me away was the verse she put into the book. I know it might sound crazy, but I felt like I was reading my own words ... I am a poetess and it freaked me out that she was writing exactly my thoughts in my words! And then, I started thinking up words - which went with hers! It was flowing out of me and it was a terrific feeling! I just wanted to share with all knowflakes how it felt and how miraculous I think this book is. |
nisha | Hi Sorry I took so long to reply. Anyway I just finished the book and I must say it was awesome.Truly speaking I never expected Gooberz to be such a great book but it touched my heart as no other book has ever done.I had never ever cried reading a book but this time I just couldn't stop myself. The book has become one of my most treasured things in life. The first half of the book where she describes her childhood is really heart warming. However I must say the ending disappointed me,it seemed so rushed but maybe that is because I was not able to understand much of the later part of the book.Maybe on my second read I would be able to comprehend some of the mysteries. |
Sheaa Olein | Hey Nisha, good to see you again! Glad you enjoyed Gooberz. It's one of those books I'll always have ------------------ "The stars which shone over Babylon and the stable in Bethlehem still shine as brightly over the Empire State Building and your front yard today. They perform their cycles with the same mathematical precision, and they will continue to affect each thing on earth, including man, as long as the earth exists." Linda Goodman |

Randall | The second read is even better. Always see a lot you missed. ------------------ "There is no use trying," said Alice; "one can't believe impossible things." "I dare say you haven't had much practice," said the Queen. "When I was your age, I always did it for half an hour a day. Why, sometimes I've believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast." Lewis Carroll |
