T O P I C R E V I E Whmmit seems like many ppl have multiple tarot decks. some over a dozen?i'm just wondering if anyone else see's this as ...idk i'm just gonna go with 'wrong' ....a key component is building a relationship with you deck. (right?) how can you do that when you have so many?i'm pretty sure there's ppl on this form that have a couple, so i was just wondering why? how it works for you? etc. luisbunuelHi. I agree. I'm not sure I like the more modern decks. I've noticed that the modern decks leave out cards like 'Death' and substitute them with 'Change'. I also don't see the point of owning / using more than one deck, whatever that deck happens to be.And the traditional decks have beautiful illustrations too.love being ArieshmmPeople are drawn to most tarot decks because of the imagery. but trust me no matter how many decks you have, you may work the best with one-three at most in my experience. I love new decks, the images, the colours, the awe me, but when it comes to reading, I used my trusted RWS only because with RWS I know my cards. However, with other decks many cars have different meanings than those I know.Start with one deck and build a relationship. If you are drawn to other decks later, there is nothing wrong with that.------------------Pity from an Aries is worse than their contempt \m/Follow my blog:www.lenormanddraws.blogspot.comquinnlycanastroI have over 40 decks and have my eye on quite a few more. I like the artwork and sometimes they'll throw in a bit of imagery that enhances your understanding of the card.As a professional, I've used maybe 6 of those decks [at most], when reading for others.Collecting decks is a serious issue for some. The other thing to consider is that when the deck wears out [which they do] and need replacing, you often can't connect with the new replacement...I found that quite weird to experience. That's a lot!------------------"Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Rebecca ClarkquinnlycanastroIt is a lot but I get drawn to the style. Most of them just sit on the book shelf. I did sell a couple and on one of them I made a big profit. Bought them for £10 when they first came out and sold them a few years later for £60. Crazy.
