bella_taurus | Does anyone know what it means to see a hummingbird? Thanks! |
NYCdodger | Nothing, it means you saw a hummingbird........Lol just kidding I got this from dreammoods...
To see hummingbirds in your dream suggest that seemingly small ideas and concepts can possess much potential and power. Alternatively, it symbolizes your flighty thoughts and frivolous ideas. The hummingbird may also be seen as a metaphor for your inability to commit to a relationship. |
deepseablues | Among another things hummingbirds represent beauty, joy and love. It could be a sign that these thing are coming your way or that you need to make more time to appreciate these things in your life. The sight of the hummingbird itself is a manifestation of the availability of these things in life to you, and shows you these qualities. Did not seeing the hummingbird make you feel a little joy, love and beauty? I find shamanic interpretations are the best for looking into what animals sighting may be trying to show you in your life. Just type "shamanic interpretations of hummingbird" into google or something like that for more info. This will probably get moved to Uni-versal Codes. |

astra7 | OMG, you are in Minneapolis and saw hummingbird?! WOW Hummingbird is said to make impossible possible. Because the bird can fly backwards (!) and all kinds. So it could be a message to say that what you think impossible isn't!

What a great description! I was so enamored by it! I've never seen one in real life until that moment! It took my breath away!

It means you should go buy a feeder, lol. I have read this winter is going to be weird. It is hard for me to imagine it will be reason for hummers to be that far north. Hummingbirds will migrate north in the spring* and start to arrive in February in the Southern United States and as far north as Alaska in May. They will then migrate south to Mexico and Central America in the fall* starting in August through October. I live in Louisiana./ My sisters back yard is an aviary. Lots of hummers. You seeing one where you live, mmmm. If that is a fluke, expect another. ------------------ -- |
Lexxigramer | I love hummingbirds! I plant flowers right outside my bedroom window so that I can watch them from my bed, Being disabled and down in bed too often; these sweet little beauties add joy to my gloomy times. When I open the window they will sometimes fly into my room and out, and hover right by my face! It is truly wonderful! Oh please be careful if feeding them artificial nectars. The stuff can go bad very fast and cause a deadly fungal infection to hummers. Also never use artificial sweeteners because they will starve to death. Real flowers are their best sources and fairly easy to grow. |
