i don't know what it is, but i gravitate towards earth sign women myself, my chart is high on water and earth and the only fire parts are my leo sun and sag ris. i can make sag women laugh a lot but there is something that stops them from thinking i'm a good match (from what i can tell) and i tend to think that they wouldn't make much of a match for me either. there is however one kind of woman that always flicks my switch.. the aries girl!
i can't resist! they make me want to chase them to earths end! i love their spark and zest.. to me it's unbeatable if what you're looking for in life is enjoyment. do you find that aries girls hit the spot too?
leo women i have this kind of comradery with. my mother is leo too so that perhaps helps that along.
i think the moon sign has an equal effect on how you handle relations.. what is your moon?
i recently came to the realisation that i've always gotten along with virgo women very well.. a mutual repsect without the ego ******** leo is famous for. i think this is in part due to the cappy moon. i really do slow it down when there's a girl i connect with around. seems to be very easy to do when talking with a virgo woman. however that sometimes nuerotic virgo thinking can put me off.. sometimes, it's too much for me to handle!
then again, there's the libra woman.. always a great mental match for the leo sun guy. who else can frequently topple the lion with cleverness and diplomacy and still keep him purring?! not many! if what you're after is an "equal" then the libra girl is a great bet. the libran woman can well understand the sag rising sence of freedom too in my book. infact, she can understand almost anything.
then of course is the aquarian woman, and that, without a doubt, is worth more than a few words.. a whole book there.

To clarify my question, I was curious as to how people with the above combo behaved/felt in a relationship. It's been brought to my attention few months back that although I'd like a serious committed relationship, it's very difficult for me. I feel smothered and easily suffocated. My recent ex mentioned I had committment phobia, which surprised me but it may be true(?). To be honest, I am confused - I thought I was one way, but finding out that I'm not. That's why I was hoping others with more experience could share their stories and then perhaps things would make more sense. Also, how they balance out the need for LOTS and LOTS of space/freedom with their partner's/your need for togetherness and intimacy?

Usually do get along with most people, but pisces females have a way of putting you at ease and they are very thoughtful and sweet. As for romantic compatibility - no clue! Although there's a certain scorpio aquaintance I can't seem to forget. There's usually no chemistry with leo, sag or cancer males.

After knowing him for a year and a half, I noticed that he rushes into relationships and he's kinda idealistic in the beginning, then after a few weeks, he realizes he's not ready for a committed, serious relationship.
