Stnasty charts reflect what each partner brings to the relationship, while the composite reflects the relationship environment. You really can't compare the two directly. Couples can have excellent synasty aspects indicating that they both bring good things to the relationship. But and its a big but, that doesn't mean that the relationship gestalt is goo for either one of them. On the same hand, I have seen couples with terrible synasty characteristic, and a composite chart that would blow you socks off.

Keep in mind as well that while each partner can control and even modify his or her attitudes (synasty), neither jas any control at all over the composite chart. Their only choice is are they welling to live in the composite enviroment,

Thanks,
That's been on my mind lately.

I guess to find someone with the good aspects in both synasty and composite would be the most ideal. It also tells me not to disregard someone because on the surface some planets don't click - you have to dig a little deeper and trust if your intuition tells you if it will or won't work out.

This astrology stuff is pretty complicated so I'm learning to always leave room for error because chances are, there is something I've overlooked or something new I need to learn.

This is a big guess: but maybe people are more use to synastry charts than composite? I know I am.

What are some keys to look for in composite charts? some of the top indicators in other words. All I can remember of mine is we share an aquarius sun and cancer moon. which makes sense, it is a different kind of a relationship, we have an innovative way of going about things, and a cancer moon, which makes sense, we are very sensual, her more than me though. looking at things, we also have aquarius in venus and mercury. This really is a unique/different (in a good way) relationship. All the aquarius placements are in the 10th house and moon in the 2nd. It adds a very practical side to our relationship. We communicate mentally in a practical sense. Our aries moon makes us very flirty and look very cute in front of bystanders. Indeed people say we do look cute together.

fianlly our pisces in mars and scorpio saturn add that intensity we feel but no one sees. They are the more distant planet and thus, most likely a little more hidden. jupiter and neptune in house 9 symbolizes and adventourous attitude towards thigns we share together I would say. A taurus true node proves we share a destiny, we are travelling together, learning together, as both of our true nodes are located there, and together, they are in the first house.

completely guessing,
carl

Thanks for that cool reminder ...

One quick way for me to keep these apart is, watch and see the effect you have on others when the two of you's are together. Or watch the effect a couple has on YOU when they are together. That's the Composite.

So that such-and-such person is balls on when you're around them, but when so-and-so is on their shoulder, they become bats out of Hell. Then everyone sort of shifts in their seat a lot, etc. That's Composite.

As soon as so-and-so leaves, such-and-such is a delight to be around again. Just be careful if you like such-and-such very much, you never know if the Composite between them and YOU becomes a headsore for so-and-so ... hee hee ...

... which brings me to the dynamic of the three-way ... but I will not go there ...

Alright, this explains a lot to me. I've looked at composite charts and synastry. The synastry is very good, but to me the composite description sounds like we will be facing some definite challenges. Would anyone mind looking at this composite and telling me what you see here? I'm fairly new at the interpretation side of this and some input would be a big help.

Thanks! Sandy

Well, off the top of my head, imagining this Composite to be a beast in itself ... this might be the kind where if it enters the room, others start shifting in their seats. Well, they are not afraid of debating in front of others, and there can be a tendency to draw others into the debate in order that "sides be taken" ...

VERY fixed ideas on what should comprise a home life for the two persons, yet, may feel like you're turning to the left when the steering wheel is aimed to the right, type feeling.

If they can agree on what should comprise a relationship, they need lots of peace and quiet around them, such as, living in very calming surroundings, etc. But if either person has a propensity for drama, here we go again ...

I mean, I don't know ... you tell me if this is even close ...
