I'm just wondering if anyone's heard of the ammount of "time" (everyone seems to have an issue with this concept among these pages ) it'd take for the planets as they are right now, occur again. Also, what about Chinese astrology? Could it be possible to have a period of "time" that "exactly" repeats itself - as the planets orbit at a constant speed, we could have points of "time" where they pass through the same state as right "now" for instance, and hence new people will be created every second as they are now - with the same influences. I guess the conclusion is that genetics and numerology will be the only differences from that "universe" and "this" "one". Anyone get "what" I'm saying?

Hey Dean,

Have you tried calculating it? I just ask, because I thought you were a Virgo who can write programs! I guess if you started with the outer planets' orbits first, then worked your way down to the inner planet orbits, you might be able to replicate the same planetary positions as existed when one was born. Eastern astrologers have done something similar for eons, looking for reincarnated masters, or to predict the birth of other holy ones.

Maybe a Vedic or Chinese astrologer could answer you... those practices are older than both Christianity and the Jewish religion, to name a few upstarts.

cheers,

Yeah, that's what I was think would have to happen. I probably could do it if I had the time. I'm just wondering if anyones already calculated it (kinda the first rule of programming not that I do this ). I'm not sure if it's possible though.

See, for every planet to exist later as they do now would require a LOT of time if any. Considering the average life of a star it'd be interesting to no the possibility. I might try to calculate the time based on averages and get back to you.

OK, I did the maths but I think I'm totally wrong. I got 27 million years which in numerology would make total sense, but I'm not sure about astronomy or mathematics (or reality). But it was better than work. BTW it's 1530 write now in rainy Brisbane. I just thought I'd tell you guys. I get to leave work for the weekend in twenty minutes! Yahoooooooooo.

Have good ones
