Has it been the best day of the month so far?My best days are supposed to be towards the end of August and early Sept. New job or promotion is indicated. In reality, I was offered a potential marketing position for a vineyard in Washington state. I want to move out West and I think this may be what I have been looking for.
Also the full moon around the 12th was supposed to bring me to a cultural event. Well, I was in the Baverian town of Leavenworth and spent the week working, playing golf and socializing with cattlemen and my Mr. Leo. It was pretty cool and we walked down to the rivers edge, gazed at the full moon and took in Mars...even in it's retrograde.

You should move out here... the Westest is the bestest, and you know this! I may even be able to conjure up enough confidence to one day break my rule and let the virtual world meet the real one... LOL....really Lost Leo??? You might actually let a fellow Knowflake meet you in person? I think you would be a blast to be around, especially philosophically / intellectually. Hmmm, I may be in So Cal for a few in September....(bet that got you a little nervous...I can just picture you Lost Leo...thinking....oh my God, what if she tries to met me? LOL...I can guarantee I would be a heck of a lot more nervous and shy about that. LOL...) Oh, I hope I didn't sound like I was hitting on you. "Take in Mars" LOL...that almost went over my head, but I get what you mean. Hee hee.... I am not sure I'd ever live in Seattle. The Winery is located in the Tri-Cities area. I love the beach, but I love the mountains even more. It's so spiritual, but then so are the canyons in Arizona. I just love to travel and see new things (how saggie eh???) Ha!  It did make me nervous...  But you're the coolest person I've met so far here in LL, so if there's anyone I'd gather up my cajones to meet, it'd be you.Yeah...about Seattle, you're too cheerful to ever live in that gloomy place... These last few days have been a little intense for me actually, but I'd feel too self absorbed to tell the whole sorted tale on here.
Suffice it to say that it's been a time of emotional upheaval. (nobody else is aware of it either, so it's not the result of a big arguement or anything like that)

yep lioneye, i feel ya, even though im not a leo its still affecting me in similar ways.hah! im glad i was correct. wow, put up a pic of you with the black hair. id like to see. i do think you meant black rather than back, correct? methinks you made a widdle typo hmm and a goat too. cool. my husband has a goat, he pretty much has to, because he looks about 12 without one. i just hate the funny looks when we are together. :/ i am wondering if i should change my hair colour, i look best blonde but i get what you say about how blonde seems to attract a certain type. not that im trying to attract anyone, but i wanna look decent at least. i cant do black hair anymore, bleah... my face is so pale that it washes me out, and i just dont like brown or red on me. ah well, i should probably stick with blonde. makes my face look more like sunshine. ok, sorry for the strange interlude, carry on you pack of cats ------------------

OMG Lost Leo!!! I was going to ask you if you have been watching OC!!!! It's pretty cool, but WOW does it take me back to the old days. But of course, you and I are from the Southern part of OC..LOL.... I thought the episode where the public defender says to miss "High and Mighty" "Well, I thought we accepted everyone here in OC. I'm from the Bronx and you're from where.....Oh yeah, Riverside" LOLOLOL. I had to explain what he meant to one of my Virgo friends out here. LOL

Yeah, well Mars has been kicking my total rear, that and Uranus in Pisces is making me keep on my toes. I am sure that you must be getting a double whammy with your moon in Pisces. I wanted to take my supervisor by his little gnome neck today and kick his midget butt (no offense to little people). He really isn't a midget, but he does resemble a lawn gnome. My lamo CEO didn't like our report from the consultant so he accused me of collusion, conspiring with the consultant and outright lying. Now, this Saggie can handle most crap, but call me a liar and you better duck because about 25 arrows and a few Apache tomahawks are going to hit you fairly soon. Needless to say, I said a few things (all politically correct) and left for the day. I had already spent most my weekend helping that cretin by doing another presentation that they called their own. In any case, my project has been shut down (I believe this company is about to implode....this is a lesson to all peeps: When you hit 80 years of age, become a wise person and just bestow little grains of wisdom onto other peeps..do not try to run a corporation - Geritol is not that strong!!!) This is why my people never had geriatric war chiefs. Once you get a bit senile, time to retire in the wikiup and just contemplate the Universe, not try to rule it. LOL...so, I am pretty much out of a job, now I have to work out an agreement on severance and how long I will stay to tie up loose ends and then I am done. I have two job opportunities, but will sit back and figure out which one to choose. So, now it's time for a beer with some of my friends to celebrate the end of something old and the beginning of something new!!! IP: Logged |

LOL...I didn't quit as much as I am pushing them into a layoff with a full severance package. The CEO is a total wack job and what killed me was that this was the third time he has attacked me personaly. So, that was just the icing on the cake. The dude is paranoid and things everyone from NASA to a business communications company is conspiring against him. I have yet to ever meet anyone as totally insane. Thanks for the encouragement. It means alot and I am hoping that things will turn out for the best. They always do. My friends and family are happy that I will be leaving. We ARE from South County aren't we  Damn 909r's... LOL j/k all... But yes they capture the OC mentality PERFECTLY... 909r's, darn Zoni's from AZ, and pretty much all else are looked down upon and they make it IMPOSSIBLE to break into any click... Outsiders are BANISHED! I VERY WELL understand this as I moved from the Midwest to the OC, and two different high schools... I got no respect until I formed my own crew from new kids and merged with a popular one... took 1 1/2 years, but acceptance finally came... high school  bah! at the time acceptance seems like life or death... if I only knew what I know now... But I dig the show... watch it whenever I don't go out partying... That female lead, you know, the one that's doing to Cover girl or some type of commercials... she's DA BIZOMB!!! Whew... she's fly! Her smile is THE BEST, no, actually her eyes... Mmmm sparkle... I bet she just melts dudes...
Anyways, back-on-track, far superior to that movie "Orange County" that came out... although there were some truths in that as well... Good to see you in high spirits about the opportunities arising for you... screw that old job... place was whack with dudes... you have freaky (in a bad way) CEO, don't you have a noisy Taurean taht's critical? And another dude who was sexual harassing someone? Sounds like leaving there is a GOOD MOVE! LOL, AND you're stickin it to them with the lay-off/severence package... You go girl! Plus... it's in BALTIMORE! egh! (To be stuck up for a min) lol, k, I'm done Wish you the best of luck with your endeavors young lady! The only thing that started around August 21/22 for me was Online Poker Tournaments...I've been moderately successful so far *knocks on wood* You know how some people want to be an actor, some people want to be a rockstar, some people just want to be famous in any way/shape/form... Only if you can win more than you lose, right?  But without cheating, of course.I like the slots, myself. Played Black Jack a few times, but the money disappears too fast for me.  Well, I didn't get to see the OC episode this week, but my Virgo friend taped it for me. We had a monster storm that knocked out my power all night Tuesday and part of last night. Luckily, I have a gas water heater and was able to take a hot shower. Must be Mars in retro because then the steam from the shower and the little smoke from the match I lit to light the candle made the 3 smoke detectors go off!!!!!! eek!
So, there I am in the shower, trying to get a towel on my head and the other around my body. I run out, see the alarms going off and pull off the towel from my bod and wave it over the alarm. The alarm stops and I see my reflection in the hall mirror and think "Hey I am naked with a towel on my head". I laughed so hard. LOL...never took a shower by candle light in the morning before. Night time yes, morning...well know.
I have more to tell, but will do it later. I haven't had much sleep with the power going out again. I will say, I am thankful that I am Jupiters child. Seems that luck and good fortune smiled down on me this week. Here's to new beginnings. IP: Logged |
